I have been running my Pistol Event out of this location for the past 5 years.
RECOIL THERAPY PISTOL LEAGUE. And these guys are Top Notch ~ they always treat my team and myself with alot of respect. I'm very proud to run the safest pistol league
in the area. The owners and staff are like family to me. I only shoot at this range because of the the loyalty of its Staff and Owners. I give them a 5 out of 5 Review...

One of the few shooting ranges in Chicagoland. Old but kept up. Friendly knowledgeable staff. Offer rentals, lessons, new and used guns for sale. BZ on weekends. Conceal carry training and recertification.

I was invited here by a friend. While being very courteous they firmly enforce all safety regulations and have spotters on site in each of their two ranges. Good job, guys.

They give veterans a decent discount. The gent behind the counter was very pleasant and efficient. The range office was extremely pleasant. The range itself is a little dark. Could use some more lighting. The ventilation system was working but you have to remember that it's a gun range so it's going to smell like gunpowder. They offer ladies night on Mondays, drawing from a holster on Wednesday along with gun rentals and all kinds of classes. Parking is at a premium but they have arranged for additional parking from their neighbor businesses. I've been going here since it was Gun World in Bensenville.

Went to shoot and found the range dirty and smoky. Staff not friendly and appeared to be somwhat annoyed when asking questions.

Article II Gun Range is located in a commercial/industrial area of Lombard. It is on Cortland Ave., just west of Ridge Ave. It is a large location and the front is the showroom and counters. They have different ranges and on the range that I shoot for qualification, all of the ammunition must be jacketed, to cut down on lead in the air. As a firearms instructor myself, I must admit that I would rather have a strict instructor, for the qualifications, even if it seems like they are rude. I have found that the instructors that I have qualified with are strict and place a heavy emphasis on safety. It's like "tough love."

I liked the range and Bob was very nice to me but I like to know my distance and the circulation isn't very good. But if you want to practice close to home this is the range to go to.

With our 2nd Amendment under attack from all sides, this is the place for you to demonstrate that you're not willing to go "quietly into that night...". This place will allow you to fire your handguns and rifles in a safe environment where you can practice and improve your proficiency with the weapon on your choice. They also have a great GROUPON Special which allows you and one guest to get some range time, instruction, weapon rental, and ear covers and shooting glasses which being introduced to the art of target shooting. Article 2 has it all for any level or degree of proficiency and for any degree of interest. Support your local gun range and visit Article 2 time and time again...I can guarantee you I will now that I've discovered it.

If you are new to gun ranges I would avoid this place as the staff are rude and it's affront on their life if you ask them anything. The ranges are so dirty you can't touch anything without getting dirt all over you. The vents do nothing to push all the air down range so you stuck with the gun powder sitting in the air. The unfortunate thing about this is that it is the cheapest place to go shooting. Other places cost an arm and a leg to shoot at, but then again they are much nicer and cleaner. The worst part is there is no rifle and hand gun separation they shoot right next to each other which is difficult when your not used to it. So unless you've been to a range before I suggest other ranges.
