Hello, the John Deere Pavilion does not allow food or drink inside the building; however, visitors are more than welcome to eat outside on our hardscape or benches. There are also a number of wonderful restaurants within walking distance.

Hi Erin! We have a large vehicle parking lane on 15th Street along the side of our building. Also, unless there is an event at the civic center, there is a large public parking lot off of 17th Street. Please call us at 309-765-1000 if you have any further questions, and we'll be happy to help.

When visiting the pavilion, I would give yourselves 45 mins to an hour to visit the pavilion. There are several large pieces of equipment and video displays to look at and a couple construction equipment simulators to try out. Also, make sure to ask questions to the guides there as they are very knowledgeable and fun to talk to. Also, give time to stop by the John Deere store, I would say a half hour to 45 mins. Also, if it works out, schedule this all right before lunch and walk over east of the pavilion down the alley and there is a great restaurant called the river house. They have excellent food and great atmosphere (make sure to check out the ceiling fans). There is also a neat little craft and embroidery store in the same building worth checking out after.
