Decent wine but service and value has fallen off

Stopped by yesterday for a glass. We were members for years, so it was kind of a nostalgic trip. Wine is still great. Service was very sterile. Used to be very friendly and inviting. Wine was solid as always, but I was shocked to see all of the red were priced the same and pretty steeply. We've had tons of wine from here over the years, and they very in quality. To price them all the same is kind of a joke. Will go back for memories and a glass, but not much else.

this place forced my wife and our 2 year old to leave, citing that all members of a party need to be 21 or older. I guess I can understand why you don't want teenagers in the establishment, but a young toddler just sitting in his stroller while his mother enjoys a glass of wine or two with her friend? especially on a early Friday afternoon. Very embarrassing. This place is trash. avoid it.

Hello from Lynfred Winery, We are deeply sorry about your disappointment regarding our 21 and over policy. Unfortunately, the pandemic forced us to make some hard business decisions, including becoming a 21 and over establishment. This is stated on our website, in any and all email correspondence, and on our front door. Many of our staff are also parents, and I can assure you, that we are very delicate in how we approach these situations. During the pandemic we added indoor seating, reducing the capacity of people allowed in the building. We also decided to utilize our open-air space and created beautiful new outdoor seating. Because the seating is located so close to our entry off Roselle Road, we do not feel it is safe for children to be playing. Wonderful Wine Experience!

Celebrated 3 birthdays at Lynfred Winery this weekend. While there, we sat at one of the tables around the tasting bar. Enjoyed some fresh baked rolls from their on site chef. Such a nice relaxing and fun time. The winery staff was very friendly and attentive. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Decent wine but kids not welcome

If there is anyone in your group who is less than 21 don’t even bother going in as you will not be served. This used to be a family oriented business but it’s the complete opposite now. Children are not allowed anywhere on the grounds, whether outside in the open lawn space or inside. We came to enjoy a glass of wine while grabbing food from a local food truck located in the parking lot and were turned away. I hope keeping the older folk happy is worth it as the business may not continue into the next generation. If you get turned away, try Pollyanna Brewing; the atmosphere is less stuffy and kids are welcome!

The inside of the Winery was elegant with carved wood in reception area. The flights of 3 were $15 as well as $15 for glass of wine. We were told we could not purchase a bottle of wine and drink on premise but could buy one to take home. The outside seating area was very pretty and there are several areas to choose from. The wine itself was all good. We liked Merlot the best. We found it expensive as non-members to taste the options but enjoyed the hour and half we spent there. They also have Wine Country themed guest suites if you want an overnite.

Dearest Marina, Greetings from Lynfred Winery! We are terribly sorry to hear you were disappointed with the wine collection. As you can imagine, during COVID we have been extremely limited in everything we do. At one point we couldn't serve wine at all, now we can only serve outside, and we are only pouring flights of three wines, or by the glass, due to the restrictions. We would like to sincerely invite you to return post-COVID and enjoy what we are usually able to offer, such as wine tastings, our VIP Room or even our exclusive Founder's Room featuring our sparkling, port and Reserve collection. 2nd year in a row that my daughter and I have ventured out in chilly February weather for an opportunity to relax in their VIP room with 3 wines that are matched with their homemade truffles for her birthday. We need to go more often as truly this is a nice way to celebrate. I like that they have multiple dates to do this event which is centered around a Valentine’s theme. Making this a yearly must-do.

Great selection of wines, gets very crowded in the afternoon. I really enjoyed the cranberry wine. Cheddar bread is also very good!
