This place surprised me in a good way. Although obviously catered to families with kids, this place is fun for anyone who likes to bowl, play arcade games, or ride the Tilt-A-Whirl. There's even a very small section with a bar and a few slot machines for the adults. I went here because I'm a coaster nerd and wanted to check another coaster off of my list since every other option is currently closed for the season. The coaster there, Tiger Terror, was surprisingly quite intense for a "kiddie" coaster and was worth the laugh. The restaurant menu was a tad pricey and the food was okay. The place can seem really dated, but the atmosphere was very lively with tons of birthdays being celebrated. Was a very good overall day.

Pros:
- restaurant and arcade are cheap
- food in restaurant is really good and service there is great
- indoor rollercoaster, bowling, go-kart, bumper cars, unlimited softplay, rides all in one indoor center
- cleanliness is okay
Cons:
- Some staff are really sad looking. You feel their indifference.
- Can feel dated

I traveled to Chicago for a weekend trip with the kids. I am very happy that I added Safari Land to the itinerary. From start to finish it exceeded my expectations. It has something for everyone. The facility really has a lot to offer in such a condensed area like a strip mall. The kiddos rode every ride twice and played games until their heart was content. Nice affordable fun. Btw, staff was plentiful and was pleasant when answering questions. They keep the place nicely sanitized 😷.

I have a daughter with special needs, and she loves coming to Safari Land! The staff is so patient and helpful to her. We come a few times a year, and every year on her birthday. From the owner all the way down to the ride operators, they truly care about kids with special needs! We love Safari Land!

My kids went here for a birthday party. It's big place with a lot of arcade games and some rides. They really loved it.

My family and I came here for fun and the children really liked it and want to go back. The food was good and everyone liked the rides. Loved the photo booth they had as well.

We had never been to Safari Land, but we were in the area with my grandkids and wanted something to do that was inside because of the cold and windy day. We decided on Safari Land. It is located on North Ave., just west of Rt. 83. It is in a large strip mall and there is plenty of parking. Inside, we found Safari Land to be clean. The staff was very helpful and watchful of the kids. There are about ten different party rooms inside. There are arcade games, i.e. driving, shooting and older games like Pac Man. There are a number of old Skee Ball-type games, as well. There are several rides, including bumper cars, go karts, a tilt-a-whirl, and a carousel. Naturally, there are height limitations. Besides food that is available, there is also a gift shop where you can redeem your hard-earned tickets from Skee Ball and other games. There are also rides that take tokens, as well as a jungle gym with slides and more in one area. Our 2 year old granddaughter and 4 year old grandson had a fun time, and there are a couple of high activity games, where you can tire them out. We found the admission to be reasonable and we had $20.00 put on a card for the games, which seemed to go a long way. You can buy additional tokens, as you need or want them. We found the lighting to be quite acceptable and never worried about not seeing the kids. The light is bright enough, but the idea is to show off the lighting on the games which they do well.

kids like the place... with a few (minor) rides, and video games, souvenirs, prizes for points, and some pretty good food (hot dogs to pizza) that's a little over-priced. even a few bowling lanes! under-12 children may want to stay forever, but adults'll probably want to go home in under an hour.... fine indoor destination to entertain the younger set... in surroundings that seem pretty clean and well-kept. --only keep in mind that it Is rather dark, dimly-lit in there....

We got the $10 card and the kids did the monkey jump and tiger terror ride. I would say they had a good time and the staff was extremely friendly.
