I've played two of their rooms (Crime Scene and Vacant Lab), their location isn't the best and looks a little rundown.
There is no video explaining the scenario just a quick summary by the employee before you begin.
There is no real automation or technology in the rooms, reducing the 'wow/cool' factor considerably.
The best part about both rooms is that nearly all of the puzzles can be worked on collaboratively which is nice because everyone can be involved versus some rooms where only one maybe two people can work on a puzzle at one time.
Additionally, the rooms had a very linear flow to the puzzle/clue progression. The rooms allow you to book up to 10 per room, but with the room size, anymore than 6 would be very crowded.
While the location and lack of technology are the weaknesses of this provider, the linear structure and collaborative puzzle structure could make this a good place to take someone that wants to try a breakout/escape room but is a little intimidated by the idea.

My daughter and seven of her friends had planned a night of fun, and another dad and I had been charged with getting them to their destination. We attempted to use a Groupon for another Louisville-area 'escape room' type experience and did not have a good experience. We battled massive traffic only to be told that we were 'too late and would not have any fun'. On a whim and at a loss for other ideas, I called Escape Room in Jeffersonville. They had actually closed for the evening, but accommodated us anyhow. They re-opened and, in under an hour, we were there and ready to go! The staff was super accommodating and kept it very fun and light-hearted for the girls. And though the group (around 9 total) simply tore into the room with reckless abandon, we were actually able to string our clues together enough to get out in 58 minutes!! Overall it was a great experience. The girls had a blast, and it was nice that we were able to salvage their night of fun. Though the regular price is a little bit high for these experiences (per-person), it really is a LOT of fun, and I highly recommend it. I think the 'magic' number of people would be 4-6 to prevent mass-chaos, but it was great for laughs and a memorable time. Allow yourself plenty of time for the evening so you are not in a hurry. Also, for the business - I recommend they sell tshirts or something, as the girls would've bough them! :)

We went last weekend and it was great. Puzzles were challenging but fun. Would highly recommend this for a family night, date night, or just a group of friends looking for something different to do.

We don't really have a minimum age, however our puzzles are geared 13+. We do have a minimum of 1 person over 18 in every group. Ideally we have found that 1 person 18+ per every 4-5 minors works out best.
