Beautiful, wonderful, and powerful experience for this believer. The scuptures and stagging is extremely detailed.

We are very pleased we took the time to go to the Shrine of Christ's Passion.
I would definitely go again. You can walk along the path, or they have a vehicle to take you along the pathway. Beautifully and thoughtfully laid out. The empty tomb took my breath away.

It was a soul touching experience. The statues and narrations were thought prevoking and what we need in today's world! Very well done and glad someone used their money for such a worthy endeavor!

I would highly recommend taking a ride and visiting the Shrine. If you are in for a walk this one can't be beat. It is a lovely setting all the way around. The gift shop is wonderful.

While visiting friends in nearby Crown Point, IN, we traveled to the Shrine of the Christ's Passion. We never expected the deeply spiritual impact of this glimpse into the last days of Christ on earth. We strolled along the beautifully secluded 1/2 mile pathway, visiting a series of life-sizes statues displaying scenes from the Last Supper, through each step of the Passion, to the crucifixion and finally the ascension of our Lord into Heaven. Not to be forgotten was a visit to the enormous Gift Shop that contains every type of religious article. I strongly recommend a visit to this Shrine for a special glimpse into the events of Christ's Passion like never before presented in such detail.

My daughter lives there and we have never gone. We took my 3 year old granddaughter with. It is beautiful and such a great idea. We went when they first opened. It was a beautiful walk that I would definitely do again. There were life size statues that when you push a button, you can hear the story. She did have a lot of questions which actually was good. It is so serene there, I really don't now why we don't go there more often. I enjoyed the gift shop and I bought a lot of unique items there.

This is beautiful place to spend a little time. If you only have a little time go to the gift shop and spend some time enjoying some of the beautiful art in the back area. Don’t miss the little theater with a short film on the history of the project from beginning to current.

A journey through Christ's Passion through a half mile interactive trail, very serene with life size statues representing the final hours of Jesus's journey to the path of his ultimate sacrifice. Ranging from the Last Supper to His ascension. Recently added Moses & the 10 commandments on Mount Sinai. Touched by people of all faiths and leave with a deeper appreciation for the love of God for all humanity.

That’s a great question. And the answer is no. The entrance is thru the gift shop, and it is packed with very fragile retail displays. They do allow for clearly marked and documented service dogs (not therapy animals). I would call them if you have any other questions. The staff is very friendly.

Actually, I have never been to the Shrine on Easter. Fairly certain it will be closed on Easter. I know there is a huge procession on Good Friday with Relevant Radio's Fr. Rocky.
