We went on a Saturday morning to this Farmers Market and wish we hadn't eaten first! It was huge!! They have lots of food (and even alcoholic drinks), but they also have many other products to buy -- tons of produce and lots of decor items, clothing, flowers, coffee, candles, etc.
Most of the Market on Saturday morning is outside. There are only a few kiosks inside. We bought some delicous bread, summer sausage, and bleu cheese-stuffed olives. Yum!

I was very impressed with this market for several reasons - the first being the parking! I'm used to having to struggle to find parking for the farmer's market in Madison, WI so finding a spot within seconds of pulling in that you don't have to pay for, AMAZING! Second, the amount of vendors and how they are spread out is so nice, makes for a relaxing walk along the river while getting your shopping done. Third, in the heat of the summer you can continue to shop the many vendors at the indoor section and sit down for a bite to eat. Fourth, kid friendly all the way, a petting zoo, jumpy houses, air slides, etc. I would definitely make the 3 hour journey to come back to this several times!

Came on a super rainy day which made walking the parking lot challenging. Lots of parking on a rainy day, don't know how it is normally. Went inside to the stalls and there are lots of samples which was nice.

Was at a restaurant last night and the waiter told me about a brewery and also mentioned a farmers market that is in the same area.we went down there this morning and had a blast! We are from NY,and have farmers markets bug not as good as this one! Just the first aisle alone we bought glazed nuts,focaccia bread, and great fudge! Lots of produce,honey,great food trucks and more! There are also rides,and some vendors inside along with a small boardwalk looking area with food places and people were outside eating at tables and even having beer from 10:00am.

Everything looked wonderful. When we got back our canolope was very soft. Vendors were very nice. We would go again if we down in that area.

I do love a farmers market! Freighthouse certainly does not fail to deliver in that respect Saturday and Sunday see great number of local vendors. The same vendors are they are on different days so odds are if you can get different things depending on when you go. Nice little band shell area that’s covered with seating that you can listen to local musical groups that they have in. Very chill. Front house tap is right there on the little boardwalk area and it is outstanding hats off to their cherry bomb ale. Next door you can get a couple of slices from the pizza place also really good. They were actually running a deal when I was there last that you could get a pint for four dollars and a slice for four dollars definitely a great meal for a total of eight bucks. I’m not as fond of the indoor area as I am of the outdoor area. Well I’m sure in the colder months the indoor area does work much better LOL. If you want some local food- this is the place!

I enjoy going to farmers' markets in the cities I travel to and found this one to be exceptional. Nice variety of goods including: produce, meats, pastries, popcorn, plants (garden and hanging), jewelry, hand made crafts, and clothing. We went on Saturday and Sunday and Saturday seemed to be the better day to go. On Saturday, there were several musicians playing, which enhanced the experience. Stop by the food truck selling breakfast burritos and tacos...outstanding! The cheese curds we bought from one of the vendors were also incredible. There were also things for my kids to do, which kept them entertained. A must do if you go to downtown Davenport!

This Farmers Market had a lot to choose from. Great selections to choose from! They had food as well as other homemade items. Food as well as clothes and decorations.
