My favorite thing is the outside patio in the sunshine! It’s a favorite stop when hanging out downtown, riding bikes along the river path and then stopping in. Have done the tour several times as well =cool info and free beer! It’s kid friendly,dog friendly,has a bike station, and often live music. ...unfortunately this place was hit hard by the floods and I’m not sure it will reopen.

went on Friday 9/27 hoping they were back open but they were not yet I hope they open soon because the beer and atmosphere made it my favorite Quad City brewery. Hurry back

This was our favorite brewery in this area. Laid back, welcoming, affordable and best of all delicious beer. Can’t wait to go back!

We love the beer here and there was plenty to choose from. Some more traditional i.e. the vintage blond and some deliciously unique ie. the brown sugar cinnamon which I can’t stop talking about. We enjoyed great company enjoying a flight or two at the bar. Andy was a great. We could have stayed all day. Only dissapointment was their stock was depleted from the holidays and we couldn’t take some home. This is a must stop. Make sure to carve out some time because you are going to want to try them all.

Great place for craft beers. Just be forewarned that it’s not overly roomy inside. In fact, it can get down right crowded. But that’s ok, order up a flight and say hi to your neighbor! You might just make a new friend!

This is not some mid or big sized place. Just putting out some good beers in the old part of town. It's got history, it's got old-school feel. The folks are real, the beer is real. Go for a tour on Saturday, and enjoy the the place.

So we decided to try brews all along the way on our trip to, fro, and across 9 states. The winner....Great River Brewery in Davenport, IA. Each brew was cleverly crafted and named, and the artwork on the take home cans equally clever. We tried a taste of everything from light to dark and honestly cannot say there is not one we didn't enjoy. Andy, the bartender, is lighthearted and fun. I had also been searching for a soft pretzel in all these beer joints, and lo and behold, found that here too! A good time at Great River Brewery, IA mile marker 483 🍻

I felt the need for a craft brew after a day of home painting. The GRB was just what I needed to improve my attitude. We enjoyed a West Coast IPA and a draft of refreshing Cherry Blonde. The bar was cozy and we engaged in some friendly banter with the bar tender and other patrons. The outside patio was inviting and there was also a separate room setup with TV for sport viewing. We didn’t take a Brewery tour but would like to come back for that and a few more pours. Mission accomplished!

Two hand pumps and 12 or so taps to choose from make a great opportunity to enjoy the evening. I stuck with ipa and pale ales and enjoyed every sip. Lack of food is the only drawback but local restaurants will deliver if time permits. It is a 50 barrel brewery that has a wide selection of standard taps and seasonals. Any place that drops the price when the drawbridge lifts up over the missippi has the right attitude in my book. Pint glasses are unique and I grabbed one for my collection.
