Great customer service from the two guys behind the desk. Warm and friendly personalities who are willing and eager to grab you a beer or a hot dog from behind the counter, get you a tee time for tomorrow, ring up your merchandise or whatever. They are extremely knowledgeable about all that is golf. What a huge difference I have see this year. Not in just the personnel but in the course as well it is in really great shape and I have changed my mind about the front nine too. Thanks Tyler, Thanks Nobel, Thanks Daniel and to all maintenance crew as well. And Thanks to Hubbell who appears to be willing to spend some money and make Woodland Hills a golf destination that you want to go to.. I am planning on another 10 years.

We play at this course on occasion and never have trouble getting onto the executive 9 when we want to play. Price is very reasonable and clubhouse personnel are very friendly. Be prepared to lose balls as the rough is long and filled with thistle and poison ivy. The fairways are decent width but it’s the narrow passageways from tees that will get you! I enjoy the course and the challenge, and for most every ball I have lost, if I look a little along the fairways, I can find a replacement. We have golfed the course to the north a few times as well and have taken part in couples league in the past - it was on Friday’s and was open to anyone who was there. Enjoy this local course!

Love playing here. The course is always in good shape. Challenging but not over the top. Great for weekend golfers. Clubhouse is nice and has what you need there.

Farmers with their crop in, come to town to play golf...bib overalls and all....The last time I played the course, Ranger Bob, wouldn't open the doors to the club house when there were 20 of us standing in line to pay and play....A good course for those that don't know how to play golf and don't care how they are treated while there....haven't played there for years...

Good way to spend a winter
-in-East-Texas day! Great course. Friendly people. Nice course that is much improved. Open to the public. Memberships available. Great choice for golf any time of year!

The land under this course was purchased by a development company in early 2000's and work started to turn it into a big housing subdivision. The economy faltered in 2008 so building stopped. The developer reopened part of the golf course north of 60th Street. It is an old, established course with fairly flat easy holes. There is a driving range. I have not had anything to eat or drink there. There is a free parking lot. If I wanted to play a game of golf and had to pay for itout of my own pocket, I would go here because I think this is the most affordable place to go in the metro.

I grew up on this course in the early sixties, and enjoy it still today (2016). Over the years trees have grown and new ones have been planted. The only reason I can't give this course a much better rating is that some of the trees now stand directly in the middle of the fairways, and close to those greens, making approach shots pretty much impossible. Sand traps and tall rough are to be expected. They don't interfere with ball flight. These trees make holes 6, 7 and 18 unfair. Sorry guys, as much as I love playing there, my rating has to be only three stars.

This golf course is near our house and we play here often. It just opened an executive short course and they have a buy 1 get 1 free deal available to encourage people to try it. Prices aren't too bad and if you play on Thursday after 1pm, carts are free. They do have a beverage cart if you get thirsty while golfing. Fun course but could be better maintained in some spots.

A group from our family plays here once a year. Call for a tee time a week ahead. The course is challenging but we play a scramble to keep moving along. The clubhoues folks are very friendly and helpful. It's a good value for a four hour play.
