The Woodin Wheel was my FAVORITE shop in Kalona!!!! They have an excellent selection of unique items and THE MOST AMAZING QUILTS; the quality of the quilts simply exceeds anything you will find anywhere else, and Katie at the shop helped me make the perfect selection.
This one shop was worth my trip from Springtown Texas, and I will be making Kalona an annual trip!
The customer service is as it should be.. simply outstanding.

This antique store also has a lot of great gifts to go along with the antiques. Run by a really nice lady who even took the time to offer suggestions for a place to eat in town!

This shop appears small from the exterior, but once you enter it is a deep store w/access to a large side area that is packed with quilts and other quilted pieces. There are many tables loaded with quilted items and a whole wall of quilts on hangars that are arranged according to bed size. Once you locate an item you're interested in the storekeeper will hang it up for your full evaluation. She answered questions openly and gladly shipped my item--a handmade quilt she had just received on consignment--to me safely. I can only wish her shop was located closer to me!

Large variety of new , hand-crafted, and antique items. Store is bigger inside than it looks from the street. Fair prices. Excellent staff. Helpful in picking out gifts and letting us browse.
