We were driving down the interstate on the way to Omaha & a few of us needed to use a restroom- took the exit to Modale and drove to the Cenex only to see they were gas only. Two guys putting gas in their truck told us to go to cafe or bar & gave us directions, we choose the bar of course. We did not eat here but the beer was cold, the jukebox had a great selection of songs & the bartender was friendly.

Come in during the lunch hour and you'll see a number of farmers coming into town for a Pepsi and a burger. Fries are good too. Nothing fancy but very authentic Midwest.
