My Bride and I love frequenting the microbreweries we run into while adventuring. We finally had an opportunity to visit Walnut River Brewing Co and really enjoyed ourselves at this quaint establishment. Their beer flights feature 5 tasters with my favorite easily being the Warbeard Red Ale. Its a must try. We did enjoy a couple of appetizers as well including Pretzel w/beer cheese but make no mistake- - the star here is the beer. The place was a little on the small side but luckily there are a couple of patio tables and it was a beautiful evening so we enjoyed our beer and food outside. We also bought a couple tulip taster glasses as souvenirs from their awesome retail selection. Lastly, the bartenders were sweet, helpful, informed young ladies and we appreciated their good service.

First of all, the open hours listed on Trip Advisor are wrong. I know Walnut River is open today because I’m meeting friends there later. Call for hours! The beer menu is always changing and always delicious. A new summer brew is ReORange and it’s citrusy and wonderful. Order the meeting and cheese board. It’s as good as you will find anywhere at half the price! WRB is small but they are working on that. Stay tuned and get down there!

Stopped in Walnut River Brewing as we were in the area. It’s not hard to get to as it’s right off the main drag in Eldorado, KS. Walnut River is a smallish place with a couple of table and a bar that seats 4 or so. They also have a side bar that was being used as storage when we were there. Don’t let any of this fool you; Walnut River has a wide variety of beers that they brew on-site and they are worth the trip. The brewery end of the business is visible from the bar & tables and they do a tour of it on Saturdays.
We sampled a variety of their beers and didn’t find a dud in the bunch. They also have a small menu you can order from in case you need something to soak up the alcohol. The libations are not for the weak and I would recommend a designated driver if you’re going to spend a lot of time there.
We enjoyed Walnut River and they definitely rate a return visit. If you love craft beer, Walnut River needs to be on your itinerary

Had a visit from our five married children and introduced them to Walnut River Brewing.
We had a lively time. The staff is great. We are frequent customers to enjoy the Ruben Sandwich which is delicious and a favorite.

This is a small taproom off the beaten path, but well worth a visit. The service is always fantastic and the beers are phenomenal! We always take out of town visitors to the taproom for a flight and some lunch. Food offerings are limited due to the very small kitchen, but not at all lacking in flavor. Tours are available and provide a great deal of information on their brewing process as well as the incredibly interesting history of the building. They even have home made root beer available that my son swears is the best root beer around. Great place, great atmosphere!

Always a good time and a great beer to be had here. Very small but just right as you don't have to fight for service or scream over hundreds of people. Taking a tour is possible as well. Plenty of awesome beer choices along with lots of swag to buy. Highly recommended for the whole family. Limited menu of sandwiches but they are very tasty

Really solid craft brewery with a great selection of beer and tasty food. The staff rocks!! Easy to get there, just SE of downtown. Highly recommend, give it a try.

Very nice yet unpretentious brewery, every beer we tried was excellent, not trendy or hoppy obsessed, awesome meat board, chips and salsa etc. Must stop if your in El Dorado.

While staying over night in El Dorado, we discovered that there was a craft brewery here, so of course we had to check it out.
We almost drove by it as we though it was closed or out of business because of appearance of the outside of the building. But they had an open sign in the window so we stopped and went in.
It's your typical small tap room, couple of board games on the tables, small bar and sign on the wall listing their beers. After reviewing their offering, my wife chose the Irish Red and I chose the Highbeam IPA. My wife said the Irish Red was ok, my Highbeam was excellent! She tried it and really like it also. we only had one round as we were going to eat down the street (Willy's). we liked the Highbeam so much we brought two 6 packs to take home.
If you like craft beer, stop in and check them out. I don't think you'll be disappointed.
