Louis is absolutely awesome. I was never a customer, but worked for the software company they use for Point of Sale. You know when you get the feeling that someone actually cares about customers? That's the vibe I get from him, and I'm hoping to get to KY some day to meet him.

We had bad weather forecasted so I called and talked to a salesman in the electrical department. I asked for a 30 amp male plug to plug into a generator. He said I have a three and a four prong. I said the four is what I need but I will take both. I asked if I could pay over the phone to make sure I would have them. He said they will be at register 1. When I got there it wasnt there. They tried telling me they were out. It was a high demand item that day with a storm coming so they sold it. I bought the last two five gallon gas cans they had and they price gauged me for them to tune of $66.76 for two jugs. I have done a lot of buisness there in the past but will not be back.

We needed some special clamps for our outdoor tables with glass tops. We took one along and a couple minutes later we were able to check out with what we needed.

I’ve been here several times while visiting the area. I guess the best way to say it is, “If Shop-a-Rama doesn’t have it, you probably don’t need it”. Stop in for a visit. Very friendly helpful staff. Everything from tools to home decor to birdseed. BTW, the birdseed is in the aisle with the dog food, not the potting soil.

We bought many things here and when we tried to bring back one item that was junk when we got it. they refused.Wish we had never went there..Low quality. High prices..Help there was terrible, and not knowledgeble..Was disappointed...Noticed many items dusty and outdated..Watch what you get and look for expiration dates on some of the junk. employees weren't friendly, as we took some items to check-out that was unmarked, and spent almost 15 min. waiting for the results of conformation.we just told them to forget it and went to Wal Marts.Many items are not marked..can't get help to bag certain items or wait the afternoon to spend a couple dollars..don't want to miss a dollar..The item was less than $10.00, and they finally came around and agreed that I was right, we were aggravated and left what we had on the counter, and haven't been back..not a friendly face in the place!!!

I'm not sure the attraction to this place but I was split on the prices some items had good prices other items seem like the prices were way too high. I get all the post about it's a little guy beating the Big Box store however it just did not have the attraction for me as a tourist in the area. If I needed something it certainly be someplace I went but again I was just a tourist.
