There are a couple of things you need to know before you book.
We were in Florida to be a part of this experience and what we later found out is that this is not a set up experience. They travel the country and if the weather is going to be bad, or they expect it to be bad, they might cancel on you and you have no recourse as to getting your money back.
They will hold your money and give you only 12 months to use The voucher and then it expires.
I cannot do business with and I suggest you do not do business with any company that doesn’t value its customers in any way like this one.
Remember, they can cancel for any reason at any time and leave you out in the cold with no chance of ever using this potentially.
Stay as far away as you can because there are many other alternatives with way better customer service.

I got to do this as part of an vendor appreciation event, but I'm guessing it was pretty close to what you'd pay for.
They had a driver's briefing where they told you about the safety features (how to get out of the harness, how to remove the steering wheel, how to get out of the car), how to drive safely, and how to maximize your speed (hint: don't just shove the gas pedal to the floor).
Then it was off to pit road where you got your fire suit and then assigned to a car. There was no instructor in the car with you, instead you had headphones to listen to a spotter via radio. The spotter told you when you can get on the track, when you can pass someone (yes, there were other cars on the track), when to get out of the way of faster cars, and when your experience was done (boo!).
I never felt unsafe. Nervous yes, there's a lot to remember, but once you start driving, it because simple. They have a "race line" on the track designated with green and orange duct tape. They have a spot going into the turns to let off the gas and one coming out of the turns to put it back on.
I only have two (minor) complaints... one: while I could hear the spotters plainly, since I wasn't anticipating what they might say, it took me a moment to process what they did say. I also had thought they'd preface whatever they were going to say with the car number I was driving so I could focus on what they said.
Two: If you want to know your average speed for a lap, you'll need to have someone with a stopwatch to time your lap. Then you can go to an online calculator and say you went 1.5 miles (track distance) in 42 seconds for example (that's 128mph). Since you slow down in the turns, you're probably still push 140mph or better on the straightaways.
This was never on my bucket list, and I'm not a NASCAR fan, but I am SO glad I did it. Oh, and if you can't drive a manual transmission, they'll give you a push to get you going. You get up to 4th gear before you leave pit road and you never need to shift again.

I bought this package for my husband I got the 15 lap with the co2 and video. He loved it!!!! Was well worth the money. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We got rained out on Saturday and was able to reschedule for the next day I would highly recommend the big tracks like Kentucky.

I got this for my 55th birthday and it was amazing. Every person associated with Rusty Wallace Racing Experience was super nice, extremely helpful and knowledgeable. My over all experience was great, I've never gone that fast in my life. If I could make some recommendations I would say(1) having 4-5 cars on the track at the same time is too many. I paid an extra fee to drive one of the "COT" cars. With that many cars on the track I caught up and passed every car out there. They do allow passing which is cool BUT I had to keep slowing down and sometimes actually getting on the brakes while waiting for the spotter to give me permission to pass. This kills your lap times and your speed. Speaking of speed it would nice also to know what your fastest speed was instead of just figuring out your average speed later. Number (2) I love the view of the video on top of the car but you hear absolutely no engine noise. I think I would rather it be inside the car so you can hear the motor. I'm not complaining, it was an awesome experience and I WILL do it again. Highly recommend.

My girlfriend got me the 10 lap driving experience for my birthday at Kentucky Speedway. It was an awesome experience. I also opt'd for the 3 lap ride along which was a great choice, being my first time in the cars. It let me see what they would really do, before I got on the track myself. I did not go as fast as the pro driver, but it was a great experience and look forward to doing it again.

Treated my wife to a 5 lap ride along as a surprise and believe me it was a treat! She has told me several times since that it was one of the best times she has ever had. We were treated extremely well by everyone involved in our experience. I would highly recommend Rusty Wallace Experience to anyone looking for a great time! Can't wait to do it again! I bought 6 laps for my boyfriend as a Christmas gift. We added a ride along and 4 additional laps. He had a lot of fun and would totally do it again! We got the damage insurance just in case, but really didn't need it.

This was an amazing experience! They give you a lot of latitude and you get to drive a real race car upwards of 150 mph! Rusty Wallace is unique because you don't have to follow a pace car and you are allowed to pass. I recommend you do the ride-along first so you can get a feel for the car before you drive. It was so much more fun than I even expected--I will definitely do it again.
