Yes I’ve been several times over the years and recently took the interesting tour again. They are timed out and social distancing was in place. There were 5 in our tour group and lasted an hour.

Not only is The Myrtles close by, but there are 7 open close by for tours and stays. There are over 20 in the local area if you include still private homes. Those sometimes open for the spring pilgrimage which was this weekend

Houmas Plantation is at least an hour away from Rosedown. If you are visiting six in the Rosedown area, you might want to include Oakley. It's in the James Audubon State Park. It's really a beautiful setting and an interesting plantation home. Not grand like Rosedown, but Rosedown is hard to beat. Myrtles is a pretty plantation home and the tour is fun. it's quite close to Rosedown. Nottoway is not close by, but it's amazing if you are heading that direction. I would think Nottoway would be closer to Houmas. It's hard to decide which ones to visit. These homes are incredible. Have fun! We
