There were several people at the park, even though there was a ferocious cold March wind coming off the water, almost hurricane-strength. It was a brilliant sunny day and the views of the lighthouse, ocean, forts, and the mansion ruins were still great. When the trees and flowers start blooming in a month or so, the park will be packed with tourists and locals alike.

This park has everything -- one of Maine's best lighthouses, forts, a ruined mansion, oceanside walking trails, dozens of picnic tables and benches, a gazebo, food trucks, acres of lawn, a rocky little beach, and great views. What more could you want. (Oh, and plenty of porta-potties).

Beautiful Lighthouse and pictures you take look like postcards. It is in a great location. We went there on a tour and were given plenty of time to walk and look.

We stopped to see Cape Catherine Lighthouse in Fort Williams park. Beautiful area with amazing views. Lots of areas to picnic or to just walk around.

Lovely park with a lighthouse you can walk up to. Great to be able to get sweet photos of it. There is also a path along the water where you can see waves crashing on the rocks. Remnants of the old fort here. There is a really fun Chidren’s garden for kids to explore. Near here and the tennis courts is a scenic picnic spot. No charge to get in but you will pay for parking. Satellite toilets.

jedenfalls einen ausfug wert ist den leuchturm auf cape Elizbeth zu besuchen, man wird mit einer traumhaften aussicht belohnt( gibt sogar verpflegungsmöglichkeiten)hingegen die parkplatz gebühren nichtgerade günstig!

Beautiful park. Nice walking/biking trail. Wonderful views of the Light House. Stop and get an ice cream treat to cool off.

so schöne Sicht auf den LEUCHTTURM und das Meer. Schöner PARK. Man kann dort schön Spazierengehen. Grosser Parkplatz vorhanden (Kostenpflichtig)
