Our first night in Old Port started off with dinner at DiMillo's. Every person on their staff that helped us was fabulous. We started out with some of their signature cocktails at the bar then relaxed in the dinning room for dinner. The lobster mac-n-cheese was DELISH! So was the seafood broil & green beans with hollandaise. Great way to start the trip in a unique restaurant with a beautiful setting.

We were recommended the "Ferry" for lunch and the facility is interesting. There was a 45 minute wait for a table so we sat at the bar. The food was too salty, the bread boring and the service was slow. All in all we wouldn't suggest this restaurant

The novelty of eating on a docked ship was a perfect way for our family to experience fine Portland dining. The food was excellent. Our large family group including 4 young children were kept entertained by the uniqueness of the vessel. The owner Steve paid a visit to our table as well. The highlight of the trip. Thanks Steve!

The baked Haddock dish with the maple cream sauce and Salmon was awesome by chef Melissa. Beautiful ambiance.

It was my son's first time in New England and his first time eating a whole lobster. We chose DiMillo's based on a few recommendations and they did not disappoint. Even at 8:00, we had to wait about 30 minutes which tells you something about the popularity of this restaurant. The restaurant is actually on a large boat, off one of the piers. Not much to look at from the outside (looks like any other boat) but it was very nice on the inside. Great ambiance! The food was good and the server (who's name escapes me) was great. He actually showed my son how to break-down the lobster to get the most meat out of it. Great dining experience, highly recommended!

Love the location, ambiance, service and the food too! Very cool boat in the harbor provides for a unique dining experience watching the birds, sea life and boats come and go. Share the lobster Mac and Cheese - it a large portion and very rich but wonderful. I expected this to be “touristy” but the locals we meet assured us that is one of their favorite places to celebrate important occasions. Enjoy!

The food was very good. We had the Lazy Lobster, and it was delicious! and it's along one of the wharf's.... a great seaside marina view!

The food was absolutely disgusting! It was NOT as advertised at all! Don’t believe the pics y’all! It’s super gross! We live in Maine and will NEVER go back. Absolutely vile, my kids were so grossed out by their Mac and cheese.

The ambience, the meal, the music the waitress, McKenzie everything was incredible!! I had the pecan encrusted Haddock with cornbread and butternut squash with a maple cream topping, fresh asparagrass and delicious bread; complimented by a delicious white wine. Wish I could eat there everyday!!

We went on a lighthouse cruise, got off the boat, walked 100ft and there we were...at the most perfect place to eat....
and it was outstanding from atmosphere to delicious food and the bar area and drinks were wonderful! A must "Do" in Portland!
