I got a few holiday gifts here, including a Maine wild blueberry marinade for the chef in my family. They had a great selection of Christmas items including ornaments, carved Santa gnomes and buoys, and various stocking stuffers.

Nice selection of products. The store associate was rude and did not want to get the items I wanted from the window as there were none in the store, so I had to insist. She also was rude and unconcerned with the needs of a disabled customer and incorrectly stated that Maine law does not cover the need in question when in fact it does. Her lecture regarding what I should do was way out of bounds.

This store is one of my favorites in downtown Portland. They have one of the most beautiful holiday-decorated storefronts this time of year (see photo), and several holiday items. Most of the artwork and other items are Maine-themed, but there's a lot of more generic stuff too. The Maine artists who create these works are very talented. The store's 'mothership' (mothershop?) in Bath is made up of three large rooms, so it has even more of a selection if you're ever in that neck of the seashore.

You have to stop here if you’re looking for a a great and unique souvenir from Maine!
Local artists create beautiful items that you will enjoy long after your trip is over.
Service is excellent and they have a website when you get home and forgot something like I did! This was my treasured momento from Maine.

I love this store! I always find unusual and interesting, mostly hand-crafted treats and gifts. A good place to start if you don't know what to get someone.
They also were incredibly supportive of a custom request. I asked for a custom size of a serving tray like the one I saw in the store, and it was immediately "no problem." They contacted the maker Reclaimed Sign Co and made the arrangements so it was no fuss on my side. The tray is gorgeous and perfectly to the spec I gave, delivered on time as promised and exactly to suit - with many thanks to the artisan, Mary.

I went to this store when it was already closed but Marie saw me from the window and opened the door for me. I explained to her that I had bought earrings in the same store last year and lost one and now I want to buy them again. Marie knew just by explaining to her how the earrings looked like which ones they were. Marie reached out to the jeweler who made the earrings and she asked her to make them again for me. Marie send me an email with all the information and two weeks later the earrings arrived in my mail! Thank you so much again, Marie! The earrings will always mean a lot to me. I would always go to this store again.

My young son purchased a pair of earrings for me as a bd gift while on vacation and I recently lost one, so I contacted the store to see if they could replace it/them as they were my faves. Marie (the owner’s daughter- family run business) could not have been nicer or more helpful. Their products are beautiful, they support local artisans, and based on my experience, they do good business. Highly recommend 5⭐️!

I highly recommend Lisa-Marie's Made in Maine. The interchange we had via email answered all my questions. The products I purchased for my husband's birthday are "eye candy," and I am sure he will love them, as I did. This is how it works: You place the order; Lisa Marie responds; you pay for the product and it ships the same day! Now this is the midst of the cover-19 pandemic, and she was still able to get the sweatshirts out and shipped to NYC within a day once we finalized the order. When my husband and I visit Maine, we plan to stop by either the Portland store or Bath and personally thank her.

What a delightful business to deal with. The communication is top notch. I was sending a gift to another state and they made the gift giving process so easy. Will do business with Marie's again and again. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Lisa Marie's maade in maine is the only place to shop. Trapped here in new york temporarily in a nursing home, lisa m.j arias makes me really appreciate it more. I bought several gifts loik ast year. The shipping to multiple addresses was perfect. This time I treated myself to a gift. It mb ajes me more eager CD than e er to get back to maine. They have a level of customer service you just cannot get anywhere but maine.
