I stopped in Skipjack Nautical Wares while vacationing in the area. I'm so glad I did! What a find! The store is filled with genuine nautical antiques. Some have been repurposed into housewares such as lamps, coffee tables, etc. So clever and unique! Skipjacks could also be a museum with all the interesting pieces and history. Perfect pieces can be acquired for a coastal home, or to bring the coast to an inland home. I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the Round Pond, ME area. And if you're not, it's a great excuse for a road trip or find them online.

My husband and I recently visited Skipjack Nautical Wares during a visit to Maine and we are so glad we did! The store is beautifully decorated and full of any nautical-themed treasure you can think of. There seemed to be something for everyone in their showroom, even custom made products. The owners obviously had a great deal of knowledge about their products and were more than happy to answer any questions we had. We highly recommend anyone visiting the area to stop by!

What a perfect way to wind up our MidCoastal Maine excursion. Although a bit nippy last weekend, 45/55 rain , we had glorious daytime hikes at BoothBay Botanical Gardens and a sea faring adventure to Mohegan island with more rugged coastal hiking . To top it off , a by appointment only, visit to Skipjack Nautical Wares and Gallery. OMG it was like a private tour of a nautical museum and a pleasure to all senses; visual , touch.smells and walk-in about we felt like we. were immersed in a marine treasure trove . Each unique piece had a wonderfully narrated history graciously offered by SkipJack’s proprietors , Joe and Alison . Thank you for a perfect closure to Mid Coastal Maine mini vacation and return to Virginia. We will be back!

Our second visit to Joe & Alison’s beautiful new location in Round Pond, Maine! They had just received a museum collection from Virginia...wow!!! We bought a great ship’s wheel. Definitely make an appointment to visit this wonderful shop if you are visiting coastal Maine!! Awesome!!! ❤️⛵️

I was amazed by all the nautical treasures, big and small, at the Elders' beautifully renovated barn gallery. Skipjack is just a few minutes from Pemaquid Point Lighthouse and New Harbor. You can tell that everything is carefully selected for quality and authenticity by the owners, who are not only knowledgable and experienced collectors, but clearly passionate about the seafaring life.

We love the decor and ambiance of Skipjack Nautical. It has been our #1 go to shop for furnishing our Chesapeake Bay home. ‘ WOW’ ‘ Awesome’ are the most likely salutations from our guest. Well worth the stop when visiting Mid Coastal Maine.

Skipjack is a truly amazing nautical showroom that houses rare finds, custom made furniture and lamps, and home decor to die for. I highly recommend stopping into their new store in Round Pond, the owners are fantastic, very knowledgeable and attentive! If you aren’t able to stop in person, visit their website! This is THE place to go for nautical antiques and fun finds.
