This is for the restaurant. Great crab bisque. I had the crabcake dinner, which was OK but overpriced. They had a fan blowing indoors, which was annoying, because it was really strong on my face and boy. Not great atmosphere, but it you're having drinks on the patio overlooking the bay, it could be OK.

Great place to spend the day. Picnic tables galore. Food Truck right on the beach for tasty food. Exciting up close view of yachts passing through the Fairlee Creek inlet. Free golf cart transportation.

I was pretty disappointed with Jellyfish Joel's. They call themselves a tiki bar. Now, I've been to many tiki bars and part of the appeal is the tiki bar vibe some places created with cool tropical beachy decor that make you feel like you are on vacation. I expected as much from Jellyfish Joel's after hearing lots of hype about the place. But it's really nothing more than a big white party tent with a bar under it, a food truck, and a few painted picnic tables which all happen to be on a beach area. I did not get the cool tiki bar vibe at all, and there is not nearly enough seating if it were to get busy. It looks like many people tend to bring their own chairs ect. so I guess it's just more of a place to hang out on a beach that happens to have a bar? Even the beach isn't that nice. It's very pebbly and hurts your feet and seems to get deep pretty quick. Having said that, we came by boat and quite enjoyed anchoring in the far end of the cove in front of Jellyfish Joel's. The waters could not have been more calm and there is a thin pebble beach down in there that you can walk up to and look out the other side onto the bay. So while Fairlee Creek is great for bringing your boat to relax, if you are looking for a real tropical tiki bar feel, go to Tiki Lee's (by far the best tiki bar around), Sunset Cove, or even the Jetty.

The grate location does not compensate for loosely management!
It's as if they are to cheap to hire real bartenders. the line at the Tikki bar was 18 people deep, one girl working, (trying hard, not her fault) it literally took 45 minuets to get a beer! They don't have the machines to make the frozen drink anymore (Big disappointment).
My wife got in line, though we would have one more (our second) before we floated back to our small boat. Waited another 45 minuets, when she was next up they abruptly shut down leaving her and and everyone inline behind her hanging! It was only about 5:45--6:00 PM.!
We have been 4 or 5 times over the last couple of years and always had a good time.
An older couple sitting next to ( regulars ) said it had recently been sold and has been going down hill ever since.

Wanna enjoy a quick beach vacation without having to go all the way to OC or Rehoboth? Go to Jellyfish Joel's! Live music, frozen drinks, crushes. This place is on a beach surrounded by water. Very simple. They have a food truck and the food was really good! (rockfish tacos or ahi tuna...yummm) Drinks are reasonably priced. Views are amazing. Constant breeze. Come by boat or car! Kid friendly. Friendly dogs on leashes are welcome

I have only been once and that was last summer (2017). We docked for two fun filled nights. This is really a cool place to go and hang out all day.

We were visiting friends boat at the marina for the day. After a sail we came over for some swimming and drinks. The . Marina fills up with boats and guests. The drinks were good and there is food nearby that looked good. Live music to enjoy as well. A very nice relaxing atmosphere.

We don't have a boat but this is a great place to people and boat watch while sitting around having a couple of beers. There are some small swimming areas but I wouldn't recommend it for that. But otherwise just a very relaxed and fun atmosphere.

Fun place to visit during summer months, been several times & the band's quality was surprisingly good. Can be a bit crowded at peak times, if you are coming via boat, can anchor just outside the swimming area and wade ashore if you have modest sized craft, our 25 footer was pretty much the biggest that could fit into the cove, larger boats can get a transient slip (free for 2 hours), or anchor nearby, which I only recommend if you have a dinghy as swimming across the VERY BUSY channel with strong currents can be dangerous for swimmers. Drinks are on pricey end but worth it for a fun experience. Note- the main Great Oak Landing restaurant about 300 yards away has great food and reasonable price, if you want a full meal, walk up there- J.F.J.'s is all about the atmosphere & music (burgers/dogs is about the extent of the food menu on the beach).

Nice family (or not) destination.
Blow up water rides for kids, food by the beach and drinks. Restaurant up top with better food.
