I had my daughter's 9th birthday party here. Mountainside Creative provides several crafting options for parties, as well as a great private room. Deanna gave the kids instructions and helped them explore their creative side. My daughter loves this place and can't wait to go back.

There is something new every time I stop here. They have local artwork, handmade gifts, farm fresh eggs, and they offer classes too. I try to buy all my gifts here, but usually just end up keeping the gifts for myself. Like I did with the campfire scented candle, lotion bar, fridge magnet...

Mountainside Creative is a splendid place to browse, shop and chat with the artist. Artwork is very creative, eclectic and one of a kind. The friendly atmosphere is inviting and the ambience is soothing. The variety of merchandise is amazing. Buy a scarf, a hat for a toddler, a grand print for your wall, fresh eggs for breakfast, jewelry, yard sculptures or a sparkling glitter masterpiece. This new and wonderful gallery fits in nicely with the lovely downtown area. I am so glad I was able to experience this gallery and meet a few of the artist. A true haven for those who love originality and creativity. You have to visit this place and enjoy the splendid area.

There are so many cool things to see in this shop, including a 6 foot wide chalkboard wall and toy chest to occupy the kids while parents shop! A welcoming atmosphere and something new to see in every corner. Definitely a good place to stop while in Cumberland!

Cumberland Maryland is on the rise as a hip vintage city in the middle of 60,000 acres of preserved mountain beauty. Mountainside Creative lives up to it's name.

This place is great! The shop, opened in mid-July, presents an eclectic and fun collection of hand-crafted paintings, sculputres, pottery, jewelry, clothing, Alpaca yarns, farm fresh produce and eggs, and home furnishings all produced by regional artists and artisans. The owners of the shop have provided an inspiring and energetic space for talented people to present their wares in downtown Cumberland.
We attended the official opening of the shop on July 23, 2014 and were impressed with the reception by the community and enthusiasm for a space like this. You have to go see it for yourself. Well worth the visit.
