We took two teenagers for their first time parasailing and had an excellent experience. Both girls did the 800 foot ride, as well as the two others on the boat with us at the same time. Our girls were able to ride together (combined weight was approximately 250 pounds) but the couple that was with us could not. It all depends on weight and wind conditions which are ever changing. So just be aware that you may not get to ride with others. The operators were very safety minded, always alert for changes in the wind or obstacles ahead on the water. We felt very safe and the girls had a wonderful ride. They charged $10.00 per person for the extra non-parasailing boat riders (myself and my sister) which I hadn't anticipated, but that was no big deal because I had enjoyed the boat ride as well! We will definitely be back!

Similar to another post, my husband planned a parasail excursion for my birthday today. We drove 2 hours (with some others in our party coming from North Carolina) to get here just for "Captain Glen" to tell us that his boat wasn't working. We received no call or email from him prior to showing up. My husband had to call him for him to tell us nonchalantly that we weren't going to be able to go. Completely understand that some things are out of our control but to not communicate that prior to us showing up was unacceptable. I do not recommend this company.

Surprised my son with an end of summer parasailing experience. He’s 12 y/o. He loved it! He went 400’, wants to do 800’ next time. Captain was a pro at it, as was his helper. Both very friendly. This is my kind of experience; easy and hassle free.

I read all the reviews, only thing I agree with was the exact pickup location. We saw his car so we sat at a bench near it. Emailed to say we were there, but not sure if we were in the right location. I knew from years ago, any boat trips departed from behind the Grille at the Dock office or 'fueling' area; but hey, I was using logic with the 352 Commerence address.(slip 352). Then I got smarter and looked at the phone number on the sign behind his car and text him....not only were my initial suspicions correct (fueling area), we made the Captain a 1/2 late...
So, MEET AT THE FUEL PUMPS!!!!
Capt. Glenn and his young Mate were FANTASTIC!!!! This trip was a 1st for me, but also part of a 29th birthday, day of activities for my twin sons and their better halves. Although 1 son chickened out, 3 of us took the challenge. AWESOME, AWESOME, AWESOME EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!
We were scheduled for 5 pm, but that slipped a bit,cough, cough, and I must say to our benefit. The views were breathtaking, photography as the sun is starting down were fabulous, and the smoooothest ride ever.
If skeptical, (I'm #1), fear of heights, (oh HECK yes!), my mindset was "Go for it"!!! You will have the time of your life!!!!!!! Oh, my son and his other half, they had a BLAST!!!! This is a must for anyone adventurous, or checking off that bucket list (turning 62 next month). I'm doing this AGAIN before summers out!!!!
P.S. - be thankful bugs don't fly that high or you'd be picking them from your teeth from smiling so much!!!

My friend and I did this together, and we totally enjoyed it. Surprisingly, the harnesses weren't uncomfortable and it was a smooth ride in the boat and up above the boat. I agree - it was a little difficult to find them but I confirmed through email and called them to get directions after we got to Havre de Grace.

This is fabulous fun! The captain and mate are so nice . The ride is smooth and beautiful . It was our first time and we would definitely come back and do it again.

We have taken our 18, 16, and 14 year old grandchildren to Old Town Parasail for their birthdays last summer and again this summer. Of course we had to go up also...couldn't let the young-uns show us up! It was an exhilarating experience to soar up and away! Captain Glen has been doing this for years. He put us all at ease and we felt completely safe. You may choose the 400' line or 800' line, and you can stay perfectly dry, or choose to be dunked on the way down...we chose to be dunked...such fun! We will definitely go back, after-all there are still grandchildren to come!

I am not a big fan of heights and usually avoid them at all costs. But this was something I wanted to try but had always been too afraid. So I booked it as a surprise for my husband thinking we could go up together but there was no tandem rides. However, my husband went up first and I went up after and the views from 400 feet were breathtaking. This was the most AMAZING thing I've done in a long time. I am so glad that I convinced myself to do this. Capt. Glen and his mate Bay were both phenomenal. They helped to ease a lot of the anxiety I had about going up that high. This was such a GREAT time that we're taking our kids to do it!!!
