This is a nice place to go for a walk. Perfectly great place to walk your dogs as well. Just be careful during hunting season. Some hunting is allowed there.

Well detailed trail maps are available at the Ranger Station on Mill St. You will encounter dog walkers but it's not overly trafficked by anyone. It's nothing like Borderland. I access off Lakeview Rd not the Ranger station. There are popular trails and barely used trails. I've been out there on XC skis and my tracks were the only ones visible on my way in and out.

Had a fantastic hike on the trail today. The weather was perfect! Blue sky, cool air, trees beginning to turn, and marvelous trails (very well cared for). Cyclists on trail were extremely respectful and friendly. The scenery was amazing! I’d love to come back in a few weeks to see the leaves further in change...but if I don’t today was amazing!

I have been here, but not in recently. Usually pretty quiet during the week-a few people but not packed like weekends.Camping not far also in Foxborough, MA. A few different trails, I don't remember if there is a lookout point or not. Do not get out here as often as I'd like to. I sometimes have to go someplace closer to home.

The Foxboro state forest is an excellent place to go hiking and mountain biking. There are numerous trails for both. The trails are well maintained. The place has ample parking.

28 miles of trails. This large forest has mutipe trail with interesting views from many locations. Enjoy hiking with my dog here on a regular basis

This is a very large wooded area (forest) having many trails and maps available. Since there are several entrances, several parking areas also are available. This is a fabulous place if you want to go for a walk or run, either alone, with family or friends. Many folks walk with their dogs with leash optional❗❗ Some folks like to ride their bicycles and some have found it to be a great place to ride their horse. There is some water for the dogs but not for human swimming...at least I wouldn't.

These woods were very peaceful. There were a fair number of people out with their mountain bikes and dogs, but I still managed to find long stretches of solitude. I went on a Sunday and the bathroom was locked which was disappointing. I'm not kidding when I say bring bug spray. There's a swampy area and I was getting eaten alive.

Nice trails, nicely marked. Plenty of parking. We stopped here to get out of our hotel for awhile-pleasant.

Hubby and I love to hike and explore local parks. This state forest in Foxboro has lots and lots of trails with various terrains depending on your ability or stamina. The main trails are well marked and wide so its a comfortable hike in the woods. If you prefer more challenging trails, there are several that go up and around rocks, boulders and ledges. Most important wear appropriate hiking shoes. Very easy to twist an ankle roaming the rocky paths. There are marshy areas and even a waterfall. Awesome photo ops. Its was an unusually warm humid spring day therefore insects swarmed around as we hiked around. Further in the season bug spray highly recommended. We came across several harmless snakes. Nice to admire nature. Extra nice there are restrooms that are fairly clean. And forest rangers readily available if you have any concerns. There are parking areas across from the entrance. If one is full, another is just moments down the road.
