This is so much fun... our hostess, her dogs and the farm animals were so enjoyable. I didn't know a thing about cranberries other than you can make some nice cocktails but this gave me a whole new appreciation for the what's involved in organic berry production. Bring everyone, it's just a lot of fun.

If you are lucky enough to get to this lovely WORKING cranberry farm, you will NOT regret it! Sadly, they work very hard for a few dollars, and are considering getting out of the business. Makes me sad to see the “little farms” getting squeezed out here too. 😩😩😩

It was a great way to learn about cranberry growing and all that goes into a working farm. They truly love sharing what they do, love their animals and are very welcoming.

This is a not to be missed tour if you are visiting the Mid Cape area. Andrea gave the tour. She and her husband own this cranberry bog farm. I didn’t know what to expect but she made the experience fun and very informative.

We absolutely loved this tour! Our guide was so good and funny. She presented the life of the cranberry bog throughout the year in a very logical, educational way. Of course, in August, cranberries weren't being harvested, but she showed us how it worked from start to finish. The farm animals and the dogs were fun to see and the gift shop was nice with great cranberries! If you are looking for pristine and sleek, this isn't it. This is a real working farm and we loved every minute.

What a wonderful tour! Learned so much about the growing and harvesting of cranberries. Andrea has an upbeat, wonderful sense of humor. She made the tour both fun and informative. Enjoyed some of the personal anecdotes and learned that this farming process is not simple, without her sounding downbeat. Clearly she loves what she does.

What a wonderful way to spend the morning! We were greeted by Andrea and her her two affable dogs Teddy and Murray. Throughout the tour I was continually amazed at all of the knowledge and care that goes into the high quality product grown in this farm’s bogs! I never knew there were so many stages of the growing process and such variety of cranberries. This tour was fun, informative, and forever memorable,

Excellent tour. Personable and informative, Andrea and her two sidekicks Teddy and Murray (a Lab and Border Collie) make the place welcoming and fun. Don’t leave without sampling these organic berries they are amazing. This tour will truly make you appreciate all the work that goes into growing organic berries. I would do this tour again.

This tour made our girls weekend perfect. Andrea and all her animals were very entertaining especially Murry.
This tour was a great learning experience about how an organic farm is operated.

I will never look at a cranberry again and not be thankful for the work that gets done before it comes to my table!
Andrea, the owner, was a great tour guide. She is so knowledgeable and fun! We enjoyed the tour, all the farm animals, and the sample of the craisins. The owners work 12 months a year to bring the very best certified organic cranberries to market. They take pride in the cranberry farm and want others to enjoy as well!

Do you need advanced reservations for most things if you are visiting New England in late Sept and early Oct?

Can’t generalize here. There are things at Cape Cod where reservations are required, and there there are things where you can walk in. And timing is important - a lot of things are closed out of season, and crowds can vary daily. If in doubt, call ahead.

The harvest season is a six week window in September and October, so it’s hard to generalize. This operation does two harvests - dry and wet - and in 2019 neither had started when we were there in mid-October.

Most times of the year the bogs are dry. The tour consists of riding through the farm on a dirt road on a small bus, stopping for a bit at a building before returning the the start on a dirt road.

Although this reply is very late (for a question posted seven months ago), I'll answer anyway for anyone else who might need the same information. Cost of the tour is $15 for adults and $10 for kids (18 and under). Directions and reservation information are available on their website.
