My experience with Hyannis has it's dark side for sure they like to hide that people dealing drugs or doing drugs. Or selling them. I saw alot while I was there I probably won't be back there ever. I don't care for that sort of thing. It just didn't look good on the police that is there. I hope they clean up that city cuz they need to. The drivers there are so bad at driving. Were did they get there license from a cereal box. I mean seriously.

Easy walking something for everyone. Really enjoyed Anejo seating outside under the tree.
Also Tap City Grill had very good service and good food.

We visited Hyannis and walked down Main Street.
We visited many shops, purchased some items, browsed in shops and had a beverage.
Almost all the people working in the shops were polite, helpful and thankful that we visited the shop even if we didn’t make a purchase. There was only one exception in a Kandy Shop I won’t mention.

we loved walking down main street. plenty of cute stores and restaurants. got to dine at a couple. loved the jfk memorial.

Adorable stores, tons of food options for both sit down and take out. You can walk to the waterfront/harbor as well!

Sorry, we were not there on Sunday. On Saturday, some were opiated 10, other at 11.
In Boston for a week from the UK and am interested in spending a day experiencing a little of Cape Cod - in particular Hyannis. What can we expect at this time of the year (ie will many attractions/shops be closed)? Planning on catching Peter Pan bus on a day return - will there be enough in Hyannis to keep us occupied for five hours?! Thanks.

Many of the shops and restaurants are open this time of year on Hyannis Main Street. The JFK Hyannis Museum is also open, as is the Cape Cod Maritime Museum, and the Zion Museum on North Street.

Yes! When you are facing the harbor, take a left and follow Ocean Street up to the set of lights. Across the street is a pathway that goes through the Village Green and brings you right to Main Street.

Many of the shops and restaurants put out water for pets on Main Street. There is also a fantastic pet store called Pupcakes, on Main Street, definitely check it out if you are in the area!

Yes the businesses are all open and especially later in the week. Can be open to 6 on a nice weekend at this time of year. Very pleasant strolling, enjoy!
