It's best to make a reservation; wait can be extremely long, an hour. The foyer is small, extremely crowded. Not good service; waitress did not know of specials.

The Gallery 529 has closed, but the location is supposed to re-open as the Il Forno restaurant sometime later in the year. Il Forno is Italian and has a very good reputation.

We so enjoyed our dinner at the Gallery, including browsing the art after our meal. The room is bright and pleasant, the service personable and timely, and the food perfectly prepared and delicious.

Interesting mix of art gallery and restaurant. Good lunch menu selection, mainly sandwiches, wraps and Panini, but soups, sandwiches and quiche too. We had the rueben and cordon bleu paninis, both good size and well made. Bright rooms, which helps show the artwork on all the walls. Activity table for kids. Definitely a good lunch stop.

Stopped here after a recommendation from a friend. Place warm and welcoming and the food was delicious. Can't wait to return!

We came here for New Year's Eve. The food was absolutely delicious and my husband remarked that his ribeye was probably the best cooked steak he'd ever ordered.
Also loved the art gallery atmosphere. We'll definitely be back!

I've only eaten here for lunch with friends, but the food has been wonderful on each visit. Delicious sandwiches with pasta or home made chips, quiche with salad etc. and changing daily specials. Great artsy dining space with colorful tables and chairs and placemats for coloring. The adjoining gallery has a wide variety of very high quality paintings, soaps, pottery etc. A great addition to the local dining/shopping scene.

Trying a new place for lunch on a school day off, four teachers met at Gallery 529 Cafe in Littleton MA. It very very conveniently located on Route 110. Bright, appealing tables were enhanced with coloring placemats and colored pencils topped with tiny pinecones. There is an art gallery included, with some art adorning the cafe and other rooms with pieces on display - handcrafted gifts, paintings, photographs featuring local artisans.
The food was excellent - panini sandiwches, salads and daily quiche were our orders. Service was friendly and attentive but not obtrusive. Food came in good order and we were allowed plenty of time to enjoy it. JUST DELICIOUS! Reasonably priced, also. Please try this place for lunch - we can't wait to go back and try dinner!

Saturday nights are tough for finding last minute seats in decent restaurants in the Acton area. We decided to try Gallery 529 because a friend had suggested it. Very nice dining area, although small, with a truly interesting menu- featuring some well seasoned lamb dishes with great vegetables as accompaniment. Unhappily, there was a loud family gathering at another table, so conversation was difficult. The service was good, and the food was nicely presented. Pricing was good, around $20 for a nice dinner, with dessert and coffee extra.
