Do not miss this if you tour Marblehead. This 102' structure is fairly rare. Views are great of the water and islands.

This Lighthouse park is only 5 miles or 15 minutes from Salem MA. The views of the anchored boats and ships in Marblehead Harbor are stunning, not to mention the sea views from the bluff. There are several seating benches throughout the small park to enjoy the views at leisure. Plus the drive through Marblehead village will leave you speechless at the beauty of the homes and yacht clubs and tennis courts. Definitely an affluent neighborhood.

Beauty. We didn't stay long. My teenager was being a teenager... It was pretty crowded. Parking is very limited. If in the area I would say stop and take a peek! You could be there for minutes to hours depends on what you want to do or how much time you have

If you're in need of a romantic spot to sit and watch a sunset, have I got the recommendation for you! Chandler Hovey Park and Marblehead Lighthouse is a perfect spot in Marblehead Neck to take in the view of the Marblehead historic district shoreline and the surrounding bay and ocean. There are benches scattered around (making it ideal for social distancing) and just be sure to watch your step if you're climbing out to a bench with less even ground. Assuming it wasn’t windy, you could get some clam chowder or sandwiches and have a nice little picnic. We were there the weekend before Memorial Day and saw a fisherman and a handful of other small groups or couples, but not many people at all. The drive to the park will take you past some remarkable houses in Marblehead Neck. There's parking though not a whole lot of it (probably for 30 cars or so) and the bathrooms were locked, but if you're just searching for a beautiful viewpoint, you won't be disappointed.

Great view, of the water, the lighthouse, magnificent homes. I walked around and enjoyed the eye-catching panorama. There were only a few other visitors here as I did my stroll. One woman had a dog on a leash.

driving through Marblehead Neck with the views and expansive residences is a trip unto itself. Eating clam chowder for lunch out of quart to go containers from the Landing made the experience.

One of our favorite places in the whole world and we have not been here for at least 15 years. First of all the drive over to the park is stunning, past the most magnificent homes and with the most beautiful water views. Once you get here, there’s plenty of parking and, the restrooms were immaculate and open, which is saying something during Covid as most parks we have been to - the restrooms have been shut. The lighthouse is historic and there are plenty of benches and places to sit and either enjoy the scenery or have a picnic or a cuppa coffee. Magnificent views of Marblehead. 😊

Chandler Hovey Park is a great multi-use park on the northern tip of Marblehead Neck. We have visited many times over the years for relaxing, during runs around the neck, and even for an early morning fitness class. The parking lot is small, it has room for maybe 15 cars tops and it is tight so you may find yourself backing all the way out and parking on the street, but it is worth it to find a spot as there is a great view of the harbor plus other views, a lighthouse you can walk toward, some benches for relaxing and rock outcrops to explore. While driving up to the park also take time to see some of the beautiful homes on Marblehead Neck, they are some of the finest homes anywhere that overlook the Atlantic Ocean.

We went as a family to watch the sunset at the park. It was beautiful. sweeping views. Watching the sun set over the docked boats and beyond was lovely. The kids climbed on some rocks and skipped stones. It was really a perfect way to end the day.

My fiends, Marla and i used to sit on the nice granite benches and eat up here all of the time. Foods from Mino's, Java Sun, Shubie's, and more all seemed to go with Chandler Hovey Park Lots of sunshine, fresh salt air and lobster rolls, bring your own, there are NO eateries out on the Neck. It's just a nice place to sit and ponder your life. Quiet, safe, over looking the ocean. Wonderul park.
