This is a wonderful take, tour of the Daniel Webster Estate. The grounds are wonderful and the tour guides are very informative. It is a special treat if you participate in their “Tea”. We particularly like the generation tea where my grandchildren attend. Exceptional place with exceptional people. I highly recommend it!!!

My daughter and I attended an afternoon tea at the Daniel Webster Estate yesterday. The teas are held four times a year and are very popular. Reservations must be made in advance. It was a lovely English tea with small appetizers, finger sandwiches and a variety of dainty desserts. Everything is homemade and delicious. Our tea cups were refilled many times. After the tea we were given a tour of the upstairs and learned many details about this beautiful Victorian estate and the life of Daniel Webster. The rooms of the estate are all decorated at Christmas, so I hope to return to see it at that time of year. This was my first visit, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

tourico vacations helped me book my wife's birthday stay at the Daniel Webster Inn in Sandwich, Ma. The Inn was beautiful and quaint and the restaurant/bar had great food and libations. I especially enjoyed the lobster grilled cheese sandwich in Sandwich (LOL). We visited the Sandwich glass museum and walked around the town exploring. I strongly recommended this old Inn for anyone who enjoys the Cape and intimate places. Thanks again Tourico for the suggestion and help making the reservation.

Last time I went was for an English afternoon tea. It was done perfectly. We had delicious small appetizers, then finger sandwiches, wonderful variety of deserts and of course lots of tea. When it was over they offered attendees a tour of the estate. I had also been at the estate for the Christmas decorations, which were amazing. I would recommend this as a must see.

If you live in Southeastern Mass, the Heritage Center is well worth the visit. Set back from the road, this palatial old mansion is decorated to the hilt by local Florist's and Antique shops. There's a lot to look at and enjoy with volunteers explaining the history of the building and the decorations. Absorb it all for it's a nice festive thing to do during this Christmas Season.

I went here last year before Christmas when it was decorated by several florists in the area. The history is so interesting, and the house was just beautiful. It's lovely and I would highly recommend a Christmas visit!

Beautiful historic home, lovingly restored queen Anne Victorian open to public and private/ tours. Lovely grounds. All volunteer run. Known for their special tea events, annual Christmas house tour, and other events. Rentals for weddings, etc.

I visited the Damiel Webster Estate for their annual Victorian Christmas display. Their was an entrance fee ($8.00 for Seniors) but it was worth every penny. Each room was decorated in a creative and impressive manner.

This is a beautiful place and the home and grounds are a wonderful monument to an important figure in American history. The house is nicely restored and a great place to visit and take some pictures that will be memorable.
