Friendly atmosphere, tasty snacks, clean. The price of the movie tickets and the snacks are super reasonable. The seats are adequate, functional and a bit hard so bring an extra seat cushion if you have buttock or low back issues. It’s not a fancy, modern movie theatre. It is a basic, homey, no frills, small town movie theatre and that’s what I love about it.

The Elm is BACK and we couldn't be happier. Took the whole family to see JAWS, a real classic that you should be required to watch once a year if you live in Massachusetts. Even the youngest can sing along with "Show Me the Way to Go Home."
Really great popcorn. Just so good to get back there.

I love the Elm. The movies are great, and new. The Elm will get a mixed review, some may not like it but we can take the kids, watch a movie, sit at our seat and eat pizza, hot dogs, cheese burgers, popcorn and go home with money left in your pocket oh and beer !!!! Love the Elm !!!!

A hidden gem of a movie house. Locally owned by a movie enthusiest who appreciates the experience. Pizza, popcorn and beer...Awesome. Plus wine, candy and pretzels all at reasonable prices. The seats are the only less than perfect part of the experience. They are old school tough.

Great Value! Great entertainment! The owner and staff are very friendly. It's a unique experience. You can get beer, wine etc while watching the movie. A lot of people just go for the popcorn! The owner and staff are very friendly! The only issue, is the seats can be uncomfortable. he has seat cushions, but I bring my own. I know he is in the works of getting new seats. He is trying to preserve the uniqueness of the theater.

The Elm is an older theater an little nostalgic. We like to go on Tuesday nights to catch a movie have a beer, pizza, and the best popcorn hands down. Jim the owner is the nicest man you will ever have the pleasure of meeting. The cost is low $6.00 for a movie pitcher of beer also low cost and the theater is far from fancy but the atmosphere is friendly and warm I highly recommend a movie or even check out comedy nights listed on the website.

Nice choices at the snack bar...even beer. A+ Tables in the seat area made snacking much easier. Our grandchildren loved it, and so did we. Much to look at in the collections within the theatre, and there were cushions abound for comfort.

The Elm is privately owned and run - so rare nowadays! There are tables between every other seat so you can easily eat and drink. This is not a fancy place, and the wooden seats are a little uncomfortable (they do have cushions you can grab), but the bathrooms are beautiful, and the food is amazingly affordable. You can get a beer or wine to drink at your seat. If you want a pristine and immersive listening/watching experience, this is not for you. If you want a friendly environment to experience a movie, at less cost, and with a funky feel, then this IS for you!

First...Isn't fun the best thing to have? This establishment is a great movie theatre with plenty of seating, integrated tables between seats for snacking and nice new sound system. Second, isn't it fantastic to go to a movie without going broke. Best popcorn starting at only a dollar! Candy prices are a flashback in time! Serving pub type food (e.g., burgers, dogs, pizza, riblet sandwich, chicken sandwich to name a few) and beer and wine also. The owner makes this nice family friendly place his passion! Forget about rushing to the theatre on first release night and save the money to await the second run of all popular movies. Movies change each Friday and they run the Pats games on the big screen during the season (no admission fee for the games, just enjoy your food purchase and the game). Periodically, there are comedy shows which can be another fun night out at a nominal fee.

Tickets are $6.00 each. I believe it is cash transaction..at least I have not seen anything else but that. Food, drink, beer, wine is a so affordable. Small popcorn for example is 1.00 and the best anywhere. Forget about paying 10x as much...not here. Support local business and you will be glad in his unique experience. Enjoy.
