One of the best places to get sunset photos. We come here every year to just get out of the car get some fresh evening air and take a walk down to the water and along the shoreline of Cape Cod Bay. You can also see the fishing boats come in and unload their clams.

Beautiful sunsets. Knocking a star off because the secrets out. It was so busy this time compared to 10 years ago when we were here. It was midweek too. Still a beautiful spot for a sunset. Prepare to enjoy it with a lot of ppl tho. The Captain Cass seafood place next door wasn’t open on this past visit. We got some fish chowder there last time.

I almost hate to review it because I want it to remain pristine. It is just spectacular in views and, at low tide especially, its walkability.

The road to Rock Harbor was blocked off due to construction, so we hit a detour that took us to a small parking lot with walking trails that took us exactly where we wanted to go! It was dog friendly and we had the trails and beaches to ourselves. It's a very picturesque harbor and the trails were beautifully maintained and there were lots of memorial benches along the trails to take a break and watch the water. It was very peaceful and quiet stroll for us and the pups as well - we were there mid-October and it was a great time to go! Highly recommend checking it out. . .

Rock Harbor is one of the most gorgeous, quintessential small cape harbors. Dont miss a Young’s lobster roll. At $12 and just absolutely the most tasty around. Sunsets incredible.

We were originally bound for Skaket Beach, but we were turned away because it had reached max capacity. We headed to Rock Harbor Beach instead. It was very crowded and there was a very foul smell akin to sulfur or an open sewer. The water did not look very clean, so we did not feel comfortable swimming in it. We did enjoy when the low tide came. It was beautiful to watch.

Rock Harbor is know for amazing sunsets. There are also fishing boats. Lots of excitement. There is a fish market and restaurant there as well.

I've lived on Cape Cod most of my life and I can uncategorically say that Rock Harbor is one of the most perfect spots for spectacular sunsets. At the beach the tide goes way out making it a perfect spot for kids who love to investigate sea life. Little fish, snails, and clam, scallop, razor clams and quahog shells abound. The sand is soft and clean. The water clear. Charter boats come in and out of the little harbor when the tide allows, filled with happy vacationing fisherman. Fun place to be before and during sunsets.

We love coming here for the sunset when we are on the Cape. It's a great place to walk in the sand. An added plus is seeing the Coast Guard rescue boat on display from the 1952 rescue of the crew of the Pendleton tanker. Watch The Finest Hours and then come see the boat!

A great spot to watch the sunset.The light was amazing. We went to the side with the boat ramp on the east side but you have to walk a short path to the water so if you have mobility issues the other side would be easier to access.
