Enjoyable to walk, ride, or ski ! Many hiking trails up mountain especially beautiful in Autumn. Skiing provides great snow and fantastic views all the way to Boston. Driving the car to the top and walking up the viewing tower is easy for families!

My relatives in Washington state call Wachusett Mountain a "hill" when compared to the majestic mountains out west but to me it is a beautiful area and just big enough.

With the Virus the population on the mountain exploded along with the litter and the trail widening and "short cuts". I do love the mountain but something should be done before it is ruined. Also, the state removed the faulty stone work on the fire tower and painted the cement. :( We paid for something and got nothing plus the fire tower still has safety issues.

No matter where you go, there’s something to do even with a smaller audience. The kids really enjoy the hike and the long walks. Plenty of places for them to climb, jump and play. Great place for photos.

Wir haben diesen Berg zufällig bei der Planung unseres Roadtrips entdeckt. Und es hat sich gelohnt. Man kann wahlweise hinauffahren oder natürlich hinauf gehen. Wir haben uns aufgrund der Zeit für das Fahren entschieden, wobei die Wanderwege auch sehr gut aussahen. Von oben hat man einen wunderbaren Blick auf ganz Massachusetts, da ringsum kaum höhere Berge sind. Am Horizont erkenn man die Skyline von Boston. Dieser Berg ist ein Muss.

Living within 25 min of the mountain, it is a great was to get the kids out of the house and moving. There are a number of trails that can get you to the top or around the outside of the mountain. The view of Boston on a clear day is great.

I joined a hiking club in the area that allowed me to learn about the different trails available in our lovely town of Princeton. When there are no scheduled group hiking dates, I just go to the mountain on my own. The trails are clear and marked, you get some more challenging than others but, the beautiful views are always guaranteed. Love it!

this is a nice hike, although you have to pay to park now, (which wasn't the case years ago). there are often festivals and gatherings here too.

Great little skiing area. We went on a Sunday in January and their was a big crowd in the lodges. Pet peeve, parents that take up a whole table with their laptops while waiting for their family skiing. Also people park their day packs on the tables, reserving them while their out skiing. This prevents others from using the tables which are limited when its a busy day. Food in bar/lounge was good, good service too.

This park has several trails ranging from easy to challenging. Beautiful views at the top. In its’ heyday, Mount Wachusett was a huge vacation spot for Bostonians looking for a bit of cooler weather compared to the city. This is a great place for a hike and interacting with nature. Be sure to take a quick trip down to the very pretty Princeton green.
