Make sure to spend an hour or so here. Diverse artists represented. Interesting sculpture "Eyeball seats" located outside!

We visited here after seeing the Clark Art Institute - a world-class museum just a half mile away. The Williams College Museum of Art is clearly not on the same level, but it does have some interesting exhibits. Well worth an hour or so of your time. Best of all, it is free.

with the size of the place, the architecture and the level of art. Given the money and education and culture of the area I guess I should have expected nothing less. Just did not know or have many expectations. Oh, and it is free.

The museum is free, you just have to show ID and COVID vaccination card to get in. It's small, only takes about 1-1.5 hours to go through at a leisurely pace, but has a range of very interesting pieces, from modern to ancient. I recommend visiting if you just want a taste of art or have an hour to kill!

You won't be disappointed with a stop here - even after visiting the larger Clark Art Institute. Their special exhibits are particularly interesting.

Stop in - you won't regret it. Enjoyed the special exhibits the most - Object Lab: Fall 2021 and Sweaty Concepts but permanent exhibits good too.

A varied collection showing the connection of art to science, dance,, architecture. Insightful comments. A pleasant room for contemplation or reading. Very pleasant and helpful staff

This is an excellent museum in the heart of the Williams campus. The collection is large and eclectic, and we found the shows to be interesting. There is no admission charge either.
