Owner does not seem to invest in updating facilities- just maximizing profits. HORRIBLE disgusting bathrooms and outdated facilities. Poor customer service- mostly teenagers probably working minimum wages that care more about their iPhones than customers. Overpriced food and tickets. Very old and outdated ski lifts from the 1970s, without bar to provide safety. Good luck keeping your toddler from not falling off lift. Lift landing is also unsafe.
I skied for 48 years in many resorts including Europe. This is the worst place I have ever seen and I cannot understand how they get away with this!! Probably because it is the only hill in town.

The tubing hill was so fun and the magic carpet was a great feature. Unfortunately not even half way in our tubing trip the magic carpet broke abruptly and everyone on it flew down. It was traumatic and cost us half of our trip in time and we had to walk up the hill at the end.

Allow people with medical exemptions to use your resort. Better yet, get rid of the mask requirement altogether, since masks do not help prevent covid transmission, are dangerous when worn in an area where they are likely to get wet (like skiing), and, actually contribute to rashes, and the breakdown of the skin and mucosa barriers. Links provided below, along with my letter to the resort:

Although I forgot to mention this in my letter, I had visited Cannonsburg Ski and ride Area previously this year, again, not wearing a mask. Although one person did speak to me about wearing a mask, at that time, when I informed him that I had a medical exemption, he said "no problem." I do not know why the policy changed, but it is incredibly rude and disrespectful to people with medical conditions.

I will not be coming back. I have a medical exemption for wearing a mask, so I walked in and purchased a ticket. The person taking the money was polite, and took my money and gave me a ticket. Once, again, I was not wearing a mask at that time. I proceeded to go down the ski slopes several times before I was stopped and asked by a lift operator to wear a mask. I informed him that I had a medical exemption, and, further, that the CDC strongly advises against wearing masks under conditions where the mask is likely to get wet (like skiing). He informed me that, despite my medical exemption, I would not be allowed to continue to ride the lifts. I went inside and asked to speak to the owner. Apparently the owner was not in. One of the girls who spoke to me proceeded (probably in ignorance, in fairness to her) to Violate my HIPAA rights by asking what my medical exemption was for. I informed her that she was not allowed to ask that, but she could see my paper verifying that I had a medical exemption, whereupon I proceeded to produce it. She then offered to refund my ticket. Seeing that I was not going to be allowed to continue to ski, I accepted the offer and left.

I will not be back, *ever*. I will not continue to patronize a business which is so completely disrespectful of the health and well-being of it's patrons. I have already found a business which will respect my medical exemption.

I strongly recommend that you reconsider your mask policy, as continued studies on masks continue to show that they are essentially worthless in stopping the spread of disease, and are detrimental even to those who do not have medical exemptions. [At this point, I included links, including to the CDC's own website, for the convenience of the owner. The links, more than 10 in total, including links within links, included the following comment, which I also copied and pasted]
"The recommendation to wear surgical masks to supplement other public health measures did not reduce the SARS-CoV-2 infection rate among wearers by more than 50% in a community with modest infection rates, some degree of social distancing, and uncommon general mask use. The data were compatible with lesser degrees of self-protection."(no statistical difference between wearing a mask, and not wearing a mask).

The above contains an open letter to the MDHHS. Shortly after receiving this letter, the head of the MDHHS resigned. The letter includes information that mask wearing is detrimental to the skin and muscosa barriers built into the body, thus actually increasing the risk of catching respiratory diseases.
I will also be posting this letter, and the links, publicly for people to read.

The signage for where to get lift tickets for tubing is horrible. We lost nearly a half hour of our time slot because we couldn't find the tiny little windows on the outside of a building that were just for tubing tickets. We were two groups, one of 3 and the other of 5. The lady at the window for the group of 5 gave them tickets that lasted an extra 30 minutes for their issue but the gentleman at our window said he couldn't do that when we asked. Obviously he could've if he cared. The tube lanes were fast and fun but the orange catch fencing was falling down and as the day went on more and more tubers were sliding into it. Overall the experience was enjoyable, just frustrating.

I bought 4 snow tube tickets online for Saturday Jan 23. We've only been there for Picnic Pops. Unfortunately, a mom in front of us at check-in got upset about her child not being allowed to tube (child obviously below the minimum height requirement). Mom argued a bit, but employee kept her cool and reiterated rules. Also explained other options calmly. It's tough when customers want employees to bend rules for them. Employee handled it well.

Once we got in, we had a great time! There were a lot of people skiing and tubing, but there is plenty of space to spread out so you're not on top of each other. Magic carpet is cool. People wore masks. All employees and tubers we interacted with were kind. We had no problems or complaints. We enjoyed tubing, food options, drinks, and warming by the fire pits. Will go again!

Cannonsburg kids experience was fabulous, I would highly recommenced this to any parent who wants to give their child a taste of snowboarding or skiing.

I bought two tickets online for 1/23/21 for my daughter and me. The evening of 1/21/21 my daughter slipped and fell at home hurting her knee pretty badly. I attempted to reschedule or get a refund via Facebook message and did not get a response. I called and was placed on hold to later be hung up on. We ended up going to try and make the best of it. We showed up 20 minutes early as the automated email instructed for our 10 am slot time. We waited 20 minutes plus another 18 minutes as they were not issuing tickets until 10 am. When I finally got to the counter to collect my ticket at 10:18 am, I received a pre-printed ticket that had our start time at 10 am ending at 12 pm. I asked politely if we could get a ticket printed in real-time so we could get the 2 full hours. The response given was "we don't do that". I politely explained the reason why I was asking for the ticket to be printed in real-time and the response given was even more disappointing than the first! The exact words used were "I don't know what to tell you". My 7-year-old daughter tugged on my coat and asked me if we were going to still be able to go tubing. As I did not want to disappoint her, I chose to move on and do what we came for. We walked over to tubing hill and went up the magic carpet and when we got to the top I looked down to see the line starting at the begining of the magic carpet and saw that the line was already starting. We went down and we got in line to do it again. At 11:57 am we got onto the magic carpet for the 5th time which was going to be our last time for our allotted time. In summary, the $46 dollars was not worth the 5 slides down the hill along with the outstanding customer service.

We went snow tubing and it was an absolute blast! You have to make reservations for a 2-hour block - which is fine. We were all done with it by that time. Their operations was very organized from the online reservations to getting the "lift tickets" and making it to the right locations. The people working at the top of the hill were so friendly offering to push or spin the kids down the hill on their tubes. We would definitely go back, maybe with a bigger group next time.
