Played this course as a guest and it truly is a great course. would play it again in a second. I loved the challenge that it provided. The scenery is beautiful, with the different slopes, well manicured greens, and distance the course provided. Bring your A game, your're going to need it! Every hole is different and provides a great overall experience of golf. The clubhouse and staff are just as excellent. If in Michigan, try to play this course, its a must!

My husband and I, along with our 3 teens, stayed at a cottage in True North as a base for a long ski weekend. It was absolute fantastic! The cottage had plenty of space for the 5 of us and was beautifully decorated. We were a short (15 min) car ride from 2 great ski resorts, Nubs Nob & Boyne Highlands. We cooked breakfasts each day, just needed to plan for a convection cooktop and no oven, but worked out well. We had 2 baths and 3 TVs, so that worked out well too. We drove into the nearby town of Harbor Springs a few times to grocery shop at the IGA, and to eat out, super cute small town with lots to offer (loved Tom’s Mom’s Cookies).

Played as a guest on what is now a private course. Operations are in the hands of experienced professionals with owners committed to success. Hard to rate a course after only one round, but it is in fine shape and getting proper attention to create consistent playing conditions. Fore-caddy indispensable tee to green.

You'd better be a good player or have a lot of golf balls! Women hate it...too tough. I loved it, but couldn't take a steady diet of it. Definitely worth the trip.

Ate here one night and the filet was perfect...a little pricey, but you could cut it with a fork. Worth the price, the view was amazing and the fire pit after dinner was the right touch!

Have had the pleasure of eating here three times. The food is VERY good. I would recommend a relaxing lunch or dinner after golfing this beautiful course. The atmosphere, well you couldn't ask for better! Make sure you get a table on the deck.

True North Golf Club is currently allowing public play. It is excellent. Avid golfers will love this Engh designed golf course. The course will be private in the future so now is a good time to get to play it.
