Took our 5 year old grandson and 15 month old grandson. The older boy had a wonderful time. He explored everything and we had to pull him away when we had to leave for dinner. The baby enjoyed it too, but obviously didn't know what was going on. Highly recommend it for children. And, during these COVID times, they had buckets to put the pieces you touch in a bucket to be sanitized and had hand sanitizers scattered around the exhibits.

I have fond memories of visiting Impression 5 as a kid and now am able to bring my own kids here. A wonderful gem of a place in Lansing.

We’ve been to Impression 5 a handful of times with our eldest, but this was our first trip as a family of 4. At 2.5, our daughter is finally big enough (and tall enough) to enjoy the water area outside of the little kid room. Which speaking of, we love that they have thought of families with young children and they have a dedicated play space! AND as a nursing mom, I was beyond impressed that Impression 5 has a nursing room for those of us who prefer a little privacy while feeding our babies. FYI - the entire facility is nursing friendly. We’ll be back a couple more times this year, and for years to come.
Our only suggestion is an increase in available parking for visitors and members.

As a family this place is awesome! My husband and I took our 2 year old here and it was a blast. We were even playing with all the equipment.

If you've got kids, take them here and just release them. There are 2 floors of children friendly science experiments. It's loud and there is always a lot of mayhem going on. It's better than letting them eat a Hershey's bar and it's more healthy. They'll probably learn a thing or two.

It is big and open and there is a whole area dedicated to pretending to be a doctor, dentist, etc. So may fin things I can't remember them all. My son would have stayed five hours if I hadn't dragged him out after 3 1/2. He is 7 years old.

i took my grandson there we had a wounderful time. he especialy liked all the water activities. we will go back when he is a little older.

We have been bringing our kids here for a long time. Our 12 and 13 year old boys now enjoying coming here with their 3 year old twin sisters. Everybody in the family is able to find something to do.

My 3 yr old granddaughter was invited to a birthday party here and what a great time. So much to see and touch and interact with. It’s well run and clean and full of interesting exhibits. A great place to come with the family.

It has a lot to do. We spent around 4 hours. First floor has water play which is fun . Second floor has a lot to do. My kids spent most of there time on 2nd floor. Facility was clean and pretty maintained. Parking is free.

Sorry, we were on Labor Day holiday. Yes, 5 year old will love day. There are a few exhibits that can entertain a thee year old.
Take food & drinks for them. We took our grandchildren, 5 and 2 with us. They had a blast.
Can you leave and be readmitted on the same day if you are not a member?
