I wouldnt call it clean. theres lots of sea weed, but many folks swim in it all the time. They do have showers and changing rooms.

Leash required. No pets allowed on any of the nature trails. on the west side of the park loop for obvious reasons...don't scare the wildlife. Also not allowed at the children's petting farm. The 8 mile asphalt path, picnic areas, and fields they are allowed. They are allowed at the grassy areas of the beaches but not on the sand. As always, you are expected to clean up their messes.

Anywhere on the water. On land I would recommend the West Boat Launch area.

Sandhill cranes are all over Kensington. To hand feed birds, go to the Nature Center.
