Every tourist area in China will have one of these Impressions shows and they're all pretty much the same: Lots of dancing, very little story. That's ok because the story is pretty stupid but the dancing is good. Worth about 120元, but not much more.

張藝謀的武夷山印象大紅袍真的只能說是精彩絕倫，我父母請看過印象麗江和印象西湖都覺得大紅袍更加精彩。360度旋轉舞台，燈光秀搭配滂礡的舞蹈以及運用大王玉女峰為背景。到武夷山絕對不要錯過。

Très beau spectacle très prisé donc beaucoup de monde pour y rentrer. Réserver à l’avance surtout en période touristique. Inutile de prendre le billet à 600¥ plus, les sièges a 288¥ sont juste à côté.
Il est répété avant le spectacle qu’il est interdit de filmer ou de faire des photos mais tout le monde le fait!!!!!
Tous les récits sont en chinois dans un style un peu théâtral mais le spectacle tournant ( ce sont les spectateurs qui tournent et non la scène) est superbe, notamment quand on voit les Wuyishan en fond. Les chorégraphies de groupes sont très belles et typiques de Zhang Yimou.
A voir, assurément.

I learnt about the show from a friend who didn't fully explain exactly what it was, which meant I went with low expectations. However the show turned out to be one of the best experiences I've ever had !
Its an outdoor theater performance that takes the experience to a whole new level.
If you get good weather, which we did, it is an event that you can sit back in comfort and just indulge in the atmosphere and the sheer quality of the set, the performances and the co-ordination of the story. You don't need to be a Chinese speaker to enjoy this, although of course the story is told in Chinese. You'll see what I mean when you go. It is a MUST SEE attraction if you are staying in or near WuyiShan. Fantastic value for money.

Si estás en Wuyi Shan DEBES de asistir a este SHOW, es excepcionalmente magnifico.
El escenario giratorio, la interpretación, la iluminación, cada detalle está bien planeado y ejecutado.
Lo único que le falta para ser perfecto es un traductor...

I have been to a few of Zhang Yimou shows in China. This is spectacular but not as great as the others which I have seen. However, if you are in Wuyishan, I would still recommend you go for the show. Just go for the RMB 298 seats. They are better than the RMB 198 ones. No need to go for the RMB 600+ ones.

The show is staged outdoors rain or shine. We were given plastic ponchos before the drizzle started. Produced by Zhang Yimou who produced the opening and closing ceremonies of the Beijing Olympics, the show with its Mandarin dialogue is visually stunning and spectacular. Eventhough I didn't understand a word of it, we found it enthralling.
With a cast of more than one hundred and twenty, the choreography was amazing. A very nice touch to the finale was tea served to the audience by the actors.

Watching this show is like watching the Beijing Olympics live.
What I like
. Being immersed in the live show, livid colors, extravagance to the max, with hundreds of performers circling u.
. If u understand chinese, then it tells of the meaning of drinking tea, reminding us how this drink was with us, when we celebrated our births, when wars were won, when we married or when we toasted our blessings to others. Very meaningful show.
. A world class act. Totally amazing.
What I din like
. rude ushers. screaming away. If they dun enjoy their job, they shld just quit.
