My fiancé and I visited here while on a quick overnight get away in the area. We specifically stopped in to visit Black Dragon for a Mead tasting and we were not disappointed!! We had tried Mead for the first time while on a trip in Springfield, Illinois and were excited we found another place that focused on that.
Paul helped us with our tasting and he is the Mead master for Black Dragon He was very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly! The Mead was delicious and we found more than a few that we loved and bought a bottle of. We actually ended up drinking some of our finds while we were hanging out at the hotel before dinner and ended up stopping back in the next day to get a couple more bottles to go home with.
We highly suggest anyone stop in for a tasting if you're in the area! You will not be disappointed, everyone who helped us was very friendly and it was a great time. My fiancé is not a wine drinker, he actually won't touch wine at all but he loves Mead so if he can find something he likes I think anyone can. We also purchased a few bottles of the specialty olive oil they have and can't wait to try those as well!

This is one of the best establishments in the area. We are impressed with all of their marketing. We bought wine, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar. The host and hostess are so friendly! They also participate in the local farmers market. We are so please we visit every time we are in the area.

I've been to several stores like this and always enjoy tasting the oils and balsamics. The gentleman who worked there was very nice. The place felt dead, though -- it was slow, which is fine, but there wasn't any music...nothing to set the tone and liven it up. I'd certainly go back, but I think something more could be done for the "tone" of the store.

I had a great experience at this little shop. The person doing the tastings was very knowledgeable, and interesting. They have many different imported wines to choose from. You also get to keep your glass after you've tasted the wine. Its a quiet little place that also has olive oil tasting. If I'm in the area again, I would definitely stop by. I will also be telling my friends to go here as well.

Do you want Olive oil? or Balsamic Vinegar? or Wine? or Beer? Teas? Ect. They have alot of different items going on nice beer selections including Europian beers. The owner is very knowledgable and helpful.

We stopped late on a Friday to pick up some local craft beers, but wound up doing a wine tasting and sampling the oils an vinegars. Super-friendly owners told us their whole story while we enjoyed looking around. Can't wait to go back!

Some friends and I were in New Buffalo recently for a girls getaway weekend. While driving around we noticed a farmers market selling Michigan apples and we had to stop. We pulled into a parking spot and as we got out we noticed we were parked in front of Promeny Cafe. I remember seeing it while researching places to visit in New Buffalo. We were very interested in the Balsamic vinegar/Olive oil tastings. They have so many infused flavors it was difficult to pick a favorite. The gentleman that helped was wonderful! He said he and his wife owned the business and make and bottle all BV and OO infusions. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and a pleasure to meet! I highly recommend taking a look around this place next time you're in the area!

What should bring you here is the wine tasting room that has many California and International wines. They also have a very large selection of Micro beers. In the room that is attached they offer an unbelievable assortment of different balsamic vinagers (free tastings).
Very friendly place and a nice change of pace from Local Michigan wines only to taste.
Not far from Downtown New Buffalo right on red arrow highway. This is located next to the farmer market store so stop their and take a look for dinner.
We been here a few times now and they know the type of wine we like and make good suggestions. They also have a nice selection of very moderate priced wine.
