Reserved a round of golf for two plus a non golfer (for their advertised $25 non golfer fee). Drove 3 hours there only to be told they don’t have any extra carts for the non golfer (even though there weren’t any golf leagues or events). Then we were told it’s a liability issue for the non golfer. Then we were told the only way the non golfer could go with us was to pay the $90 fee (golf, cart and clubs). What a bait and switch. Never never going back there with such business principles like that.

Enjoyed the course but definitly not worth the 80 greens fees, I have played nicer courses for 50. When we arrived the parking lot was almost empty, and as we were 50 minutes early we asked the pro shop if we could start early as there were only 2 of us, this was denied,they could have been a little more customer service friendly

How do you give negative stars?
I have never honestly written a review that is visible online before, but I felt this is absolutely worth the time.
I recently played 9 holes at Whittaker Woods. The golf course itself isn’t the problem, it’s the staff and it starts right at the top.
After my round I left my sunglasses in the golf cart. I called about 20 minutes after I left and the golf attendant had given my glasses away to another golfer. He confirmed the style of the glasses (Rayban) and that is when I asked to speak to a manager.
A man named Steven came to the phone and immediately became aggressive when I asked what their policy was regarding this sort of thing, and what they plan on doing about it. Steven basically berated me and yelled at me ending by saying “you’re the one who left them, I don’t know what to tell you!”
(Let’s be clear. Yes I left the glasses, but they gave them away and confirmed as much. What would you do?)
I asked him politely to please stop yelling and to please give me his managers name.
Finally, I got to the owner Peggy. She initially was great, and when I told her what had happened she seemed furious, and said, “unacceptable! I will get to the bottom of this, and speak to Steven.”
I was grateful that she understood that her employee had made a mistake and she was going to fix it.
Not so much.
She leaves a voicemail admitting they gave them to another golfer, but in a matter of words basically won’t take responsibility. I then call to get an explanation, and low and behold Peggy the owner begins to yell at me. She basically screams at me how arrogant I am and she won’t replace the glasses they gave away. She then tells me that it’s such an insignificant pair of glasses and it shouldn’t be a big deal, which I said the same back to her.
She then hands the phone to another employee, I am not sure who, he then tells me to hire a lawyer to sue them and never contact them again. He then slammed the phone and hung up on me.
I am astonished at this behavior to be completely frank. What a roller coaster of attitude and anger I had to experience with these people. This type of attitude and treatment is suspect, and absolutely unprofessional and demoralizing.
They didn’t even offer to reimburse me for the 9 holes. LOL!
As they said “it’s a measly $175 pair of glasses.”
Exactly.
Don’t give a penny to these crooks!

This could be a very nice, challenging course but unfortunately, rain has turned it into a wet mess. Totally not the fault of the groundskeepers. It has some beautiful scenery. There are many, many hazards besides the standing puddles that encourages straight careful shots. We are probably intermediate golfers and both lost at least 8 balls apiece. We lost several just feet off the fairway in taller grass. Other than the wet conditions, slow players made the round excruciating! Perhaps consider a ranger to keep play moving! We booked through golf now but in hindsight wished we would have called the course for the tee time!

Our 14th annual outing was scheduled for months in Indianapolis, but the day before it was to begin, the forecast was for rain all day Friday and Saturday. We had 14 guys coming from three states. Tracking the weather and trying to find someplace still within a reasonable drive away, we called Whittaker Woods. Steve made it happen without a moments hesitation. We played 18 Friday and 36 Saturday. The course was very challenging but fair and a lot of fun. The staff in the pro shop, the restaurant and on the course was accommodating, friendly and best of all, no rain. To a man, every one of us had the same reaction: what a great audible and a great time. Thanks to Steve and the whole crew at WW. We would definitely go back.

Played Whittaker Woods this past weekend. The course was in great shape...the greens were wonderful..fast, undulating and consistent. The fairways get pretty narrow on a number of holes and the rough just off the fairways is narrow. Balls struck to either side of the fairways can quickly find thick unforgiving woods. Thought the weekend $90 rate was a little pricey but I'm used to my reasonable Cincinnati public weekend rates. The weekly senior rate of $34 is a steal. Would definitely play this track again but only during the week. Staff was very courteous. Nice bar and restaurant and pro shop.

Staff was gracious, informative and friendly. Course was well maintained. $90 rate on Sunday afternoon. My issue is the layout. Yes, it is narrow. Yes it is challenging. It is a magnet for golf balls. Too many blind shots. Too many "natural" areas. Plenty of rough. Play horrific front nine followed by decent back nine. My playing partner was the opposite. Probably would try another course.

$34 for 18 for Senior, great value for the course which is in great condition. Not easy, bring lots of golf balls! Pretty scenery, several places you drive through the woods on a wooden path to the next hole. Make a reservation, usually busy in the mornings. No ranger pushing you along, beverage cart on the course. Mostly wide fairways, a few narrow off the tee, plenty of water hazards to hit over. I'm not a great golfer but love the views and the challenge.

I'm totally not a golfer, but I did stop and have a quick bite to eat here a few weeks ago. Restaurant service was fast and the servers were extremely polite and nice. I ordered a burger and my friend ordered a salad. Both came out fairly quickly, and my sandwich was quite tasty. Fries came with it as well as a small little salad (I think it was potato or cole slaw.. I can't remember). Everything came out quick and was nice and hot, and the server brought out every kind of sauce we could have needed, which was really nice. Prices were quite reasonable too!

Played solo today and the course was outstanding. Charged me for the afternoon rate of $55 vs $70 and was able to get me on the course after I called 15 minutes earlier. My only complaint was the slowness of play ahead of me but with 2 foursomes, I expected it (2:30). I played the front 9 again to avoid a 5 hour round and did it in 1:15. Very narrow fairways. Hittem straight or you will pay!
