Staff was friendly and a little of everything. Great shope. Garden, bird feeders, dip mixes, pottery, wind chimes, so much. Love coming here.

This was an awesome find. Their pottery was beautiful along with all the other unique items. Definitely worth seeking out.

Great little stop for some unique finds! The shop is filled with handmade pottery, outdoor decor, jewelry and knickknacks.

The outside is a feast for the eyes with all sorts of great yard art and when you walk in you are just surrounded by great pottery, Michigan items and nature items. I found reasonable petoskey stones and beautiful pottery tiles. Staff was helpful but did not get all my items in my bag. I purchased tile stands but alas they did not make it into my bag, so check your bags before you leave. This store is worth a stop, I bet you’ll leave with a memory!!

So many and mixed variety of merchandise for both inside and outside of your home. Beautiful display of custom made tiles. Lots of pottery. An upstairs room for tile making and perhaps craft instruction/pottery studio. Multi levels in the building. Not handicap friendly or stroller to maneuver but so much worth seeing. Cups,bowls,unique signs, jewelry, planters,outdoor furniture, beautiful garden arches, bird feeders,
Great spot to find a gift for that person that has everything. Lots of Michigan product.
Parking on site was pretty congested the day we visited.

This is an amazingly stuffed store, full of great Michigan products including our favorite decorative tiles made by several artists. There is also everything you might want to jazz up your yard or garden including bird feeders, Adirondack chairs, sculptures & wind chimes.

We've been going to Sturgeon River Pottery every season since they were a small operation with only a few offerings. Now, the facility encompasses several rooms and spills out onto the expansive porch and front lawn. We've gotten countless birthday, holiday and wedding gifts there, stocked up on their bulk bird seed, and last summer started our Adirondack chair collection. It's an unusual, eclectic collection but it really meets the needs of their clientele!

I was intrigued by the colorful display of yard stuff in front of the store! I parked and took a look at so many colorful and clever examples of yard art.
Entering the store, I was greeted and the sales associate gave me a heads up on the different areas of the store and welcomed me to visit the potter working on the second floor.
I browsed the pottery first and there was so much to see and examine. Next I looked at the garden mushrooms, especially the big red mushroom with white polka dots! So cute and so big!
The miniatures in the fairy garden section were so darn cute!
I went up the stairs and became absorbed in the tile seconds, especially the numbers would look great on my house! So many colors and some are bigger (smaller) than others and I sat for 15 minutes trying out different color schemes.
Next I visited the personalized tile room. Such great tiles! Plus there are frames so you can take home a framed tile. I took a couple photos to show my husband how great these tiles look framed!
I took one more turn around the pottery section, the pottery with a fish in the center caught my eye. Very lovely!
I may go back and purchase some of the metal flowers, they look great with their green leaves and stems and the flowers are in many colors and types.
This store has something (or some things) for everyone.
Stop and take a look and you’ll be glad you did!

Very wonderful pottery sold here, and actually got two mosaic garden globes as well! At least for me google maps said to turn right but it's actually left -- so keep your eyes out.
My only minor complaints are some of the pieces sold are not actually made there, it is clearly stamped on the bottom where they are made so that is mostly my fault. I did get the general impression 100% of the pottery was made on site. My other quibble might be that if you purchase say 3 or 4 mugs maybe the next one could be half off.
I basically got almost my Christmas shopping done here and I've been really enjoying the mugs and have already gotten several compliments on them.
