The course was challenging and scenic. The price of 59 dollars was way out of line.
The sand traps were nothing but dirt and greens had bare spots. Would not come back for a long time. Not kept in good shape for the price.

St. John's has it all: golf, restaurants, hotel, conference center and chapel.
We've played golf here many times on their 27 hole course. A nice course, surprisingly scenic in many spots considering it is in a built up area.
Recently we've been to a religious event in their impressive chapel. A truly inspiring setting. It's not only religious groups that use the facilities as many local businesses use the conference center for meetings and gatherings. A first class venue that Plymouth can be proud of.

They have 3 nine hole courses here and the course is in good shape, but there some issues as well. Firstly, the driving range is right there, but not part of the course; it is part of the golf store located on property. This is not an issue although there is no easy way to drive your golf cart and clubs over to the driving range; it is a strange setup (use the driving range before getting a golf cart). As far as the course, it was in good shape but some of the holes I just hated. A couple 350’ish yard par 4s where you need to carry over 200 to clear a row of marsh grasses is just more hassle than I want on the course. The holes around the driving range are annoying as well.

Whether you decide to have dinner or stay overnight, this is an outstanding example of excellent food and service. Want to play a round of golf, the course is well maintained and offers some challenge. Recently attended a wedding in the beautiful chapel and was as impressed by the surroundings as I was by the ceremony., the reception afterwards was well executed.

I did not visit the golf course, but spent some time viewing the chapel on the grounds. This is a modern structure, dedicated in 1955. Some of the notable features of the chapel are the beautiful stained glass windows (made by the historic Detroit Stained Glass Works), the wood ceiling design, and the wonderful mosaic panel that is reminiscent of churches in Italy. If you are in the area or staying at the adjacent hotel, the chapel is worth a short visit.

The grounds are nice and the chapel is beautiful. The staff went out of their way to be helpful and make sure we got to our meeting rooms.
The rooms however are dated and simple things like the tv remote needed a battery. The halls were also dark and lacking life. A renovation of guest rooms is needed badly.
The lobby is bright and looked nice, so it was as an ok place to stay for a business meeting, but I would not recommend for a family. Cell phone service also did not work in the meeting room we were in under the chapel.

An amazing golf course and an awesome price.
One would not believe this course is in a major metropolitan area. Fairways were well water and greens manicured.
Fairways were tight, but fair, greens fast and true.
You must play this course.

Very nice facilities for a golf outing, meeting or wedding. Food was great and grounds grooming outstanding. The pro shop near offers a wide range of golf clothing and clubs.

They advertise and post that they are open for business, you drive all the way there and are told that they do not open until sometime the first week of May. They certainly could post it is open seasonally for the golf season. The people in the pro shop kind of laughed about it. I do not think I will go back and try the restaurant!

Bin bereits zum dritten Mal im St. John's. Sehr geräumige Zimmer. Leckeres Frühstück. Sauber und eher gehoben. Besser als die 0815 Standard US Hotels. Pool inkl. Jacuzzi. Event & Meetinglocation.
