They have everything you need and great prices on their items for being such a large/busy establishment. They get you in and out as quick as they can and carry just about everything imaginable!

As a life long home gardener I appreciate the variety of their consistently great produce .As a consumer I love their unrivaled prices. The corn alone is worth the trip from Livonia. Add in the amazing staff and there is no reason to go anywhere else.

Been going to Blocks since I was a kid! I’m 57 now, and I remember Mr. Blocks, and later after he passed, Mrs. Blocks cashing us out. I believe her son helped me lift a 50 pound bag of potatoes into my cart today. I appreciated the help, and he was very polite. Nothing is better than Blocks fresh picked corn! Everyone stands there shucking back the ears of corn on the trailer behind the tractor that just brought it from the field, everyone digging and talking about various things..brings back lots of great memories of Grandma cooking up some great food. Especially tonight, as I snapped 6 lbs of green beans for dinner like a pro! Family BBQ’s always included home grown Blocks sweet corn, and a huge watermelon floating in the pool to get icy cold for the party! I remember Mr. Blocks would “plug” a watermelon for my Grandpa to try before he would buy one (when you plug a melon-it means you cut a 1 inch section out in a “plug” shape-so u could see if they were sweet) and we never got a bad one either! There is nothing better, or as reasonable than this local farm market!

This is the perfect nursery. They pretty much have anything you are looking for at reasonable prices. There are plenty of staff walking around to help you find what you need and everyone is very helpful.

Always a great place to go for all kinds of vegetable and nursery plants. A huge selection at very reasonable prices. They also have bulk vegetable seeds at reasonable prices.

They had a lot of hanging baskets and flats but not many shrubs. I was looking for shrubs. I did buy some flowers and perennials.

wife and i go every summer to get our flowers and plants for the summer. i like it because of the variety of selections they have and the price!!

Block's is the place to go to get your flower's for planting in the spring and your fruits and vegetables for everyday consumption, as well as canning! Their product is great and prices are fair, very, very reasonable compared to the stores.
Yeah, it can get busy with lots of people shopping, but that's a good thing and there is sufficient parking! There are plenty of nice employees who are working diligently to replenish items on the shelf/bins for purchase as well as approachable if you have a question or help lifting/reaching something. The lines may look long, but I can guarantee the staff is efficient checking out that shopping cart full of flowers/fruit/vegetables! It doesn't take long, pack your patience and know it's going to be busy It's worth the wait for the quality and savings. :))

Best variety of vegetable plants in the area. Flower variety is hit or miss cause they sell so quickly. Prices are much better than big box home stores.

Does Blocks sell apples by the bushel. Do they sell seconds. (apples)

They sell loads of apples. Call them to find current varieties and ask about the seconds. I buy loads of plants there but get fruit from my local farmers markets.

I didn't get a price of veggie flats, just flowers which were about 6.99-7.99. If you call them, they will give you the specifics on the phone. They are quite nice.

They are seasonal. They will open in May for flowers then in June for the regular farmers market closing for the year in October.
