We parked at a nearby park and walked to the boardwalk and out to the lighthouse. Boardwalk is well maintained. There’s a small splash pad for kids there. Pet friendly. Nice relaxing walk after dinner.

I would recommend making a stop here. This lighthouse is on Huron Boardwalk in Wawatam Park. The walk is short and easy and the little park is very cute and has some fun small things like a sundial. The only downside is that the entire lighthouse was covered in bird poop.

I would be fully satisfied if there would be an opportunity to climb on the top of this lighthouse. The view would be fantastic.
It's nicely located attraction at the end on boardwalk.
During nice weather, great pictures are guarantied.
If you are "collecting" pictures of lighthouses, you must be there.

If lighthouses are a major draw while on your trip trough the area, it's worth the stop for a few pictures, but this will be at the bottom of your list when you talk about all the cool lighthouses you stopped to see. It's by no means a poor place to check out as the boardwalk as stuff is very nice, but I can't help comparing this little lighthouses to some the the amazing lights all around the lakes. It's ok, there just isn't a "wow" factor.

This was a nice park surrounding the lighthouse in St. Ignace, Michigan. Enjoyed reading the history postings around the park area.

It is a short walk via a boardwalk. The park is nice to walk thru as well. There is a play area for kids. The park has a few story boards to read. Nice little walk to stretch the legs.

Such a beautiful little lighthouse.
There is no actual home attached like a lot of lighthouses you think of.
But it's still neat to see.
It's a little walk along the boardwalk passing Wawatam Park but it's a beautiful view.

My husband and I were on the boardwalk which was a short but nice walk to the lighthouse. It was so freezing cold though so I would wait until it gets warmer. Very nice area and pretty

Very nice boardwalk out the check out the light house and views. There are also little areas for the kids to play which was very nice, alot of history to read up on too.

This was very easy to find. A lot of history at this location as well. For me, I kind of picture a light house to be a bit bigger. But that is of course out of the control of the location.
