We took our 4 year old grandson. He had a great time with all the different activities. Building blocks, of all sizes, an ambulance with a stethoscope and a stretcher, a dinosaur puzzle/excavation, an active volcano... we had to promise him we would come back in order to get him out

Nice place to visit and learn for your young children. Very nice town and museum is right of beach on Lake Michigan. Two floors with many activities. Arts and craft in basement. Save some money and purchase the pkg. curious kids and discovery which is a short walk down the hill. Also there is a Mari go round on the way for a nice ride.

Friendly staff, lots of fun activities for the kids. I would recommend the art gallery that is free and within walking distance after/before as well! Near the water in a nice part of town.

Inexpensive ($6 each including young ones). Room after room of thoughtful activities and fun. The boys loved it (ages 4, almost 2 and 1). So did the parents. Nd grandparents. Having fun and learning.

I've been to both of these children's museums and they don't disappoint. There is plenty to keep kids busy for hours. My grandsons, ages 6 and 4, love both of them and the carousel. Even the adult kids had fun interacting with plenty of hands-on activities. This year, we did the museum by the beach and the boys enjoyed the ball tracks, the climbing wall, the lighted game mat, the climbing tower, etc. They didn't want to leave.

The museum is inexpensive, we paid $6.00/child and had a variety of hands on exhibits. We had 4 children 3 years old and under and all of them had plenty to do and a great time, even the parents and grandparents had fun. I would highly recommend a trip here for children 7 and under.

Our boys loved this! I do wish they had asked about reciprocal museums - we had one and I didn't realize until we went to the one closer to the carousel that we could have gotten a discount.
Anyway, our boys thought its was so neat to paint their own faces and the museum had quite a bit that we hadn't seen at other children's museums. We spent about 2 hours here, but our boys could have spent longer!

Being from the northwest Chicago area, there are several children's museums that we can go to. We had come to St. Joseph, Michigan and decided on taking my 6 year old granddaughter to the Curious Kids' Museum. She had a great time. There was more than enough for her to do and some very different things from our children's museums. We also found that there were things for the adults, as well, so all of us had a very nice time. We thought that the staff was friendly and helpful.
