We did the sunset sail. Kind of boring- this seems more like a glorified booze cruise than anything else. Staff was nice. Did not sail very far at all. The temperature gets seriously cold this time of year in the evening. Bring layers. Drinks were affordable and the champagne was good with a pretty heavy pour. At the end the captain said “if you liked us, go on trip advisor. If you didn’t, don’t go on trip advisor.” 🤷🏼♀️

The crew was fantastic! Very attentive, kept the crowd happy without being intrusive. The crew made sure. The crew made sure everyone was comfortable and safe throughout the trip.

In town for a conference, we tried the afternoon cruise. The crew, music, and weather were beautiful and accommodating.

We took the evening cruise on a night with very little wind. We motored out with cocktails and the captains found a breeze and we were able to sail most of the way back in. We had a small group of people on board which gave everyone lots of space. It was chilly by the end of the evening but blankets were provided. The captain and his first mate were very personable and the woman working the booth was friendly. We were one of the last sailings of the season but you would never have known based on the great experience we were given. This was definitely one of our highlights on our Michigan trip.

My girlfriends and I go every year to Traverse City and one of our priorities is reserving a spot for the sunset cruise on the Nauti Cat. It is the highlight of our trip!! We have so much fun with the drinks on board, and cruising the bay then watching the colorful sunset! We can't wait to go back next year!!

Captain and crew were definitely a fun crowd to be around. Very professional but laid-back. You could tell they enjoyed doing what they do which made everyone on board able to enjoy the trip , take in the scenery

Captain Chris was great. He was helpful, accommodating, and has a good sense of humor! The sailing was awesome - he took us almost out to Power Island and back. I loved the music genre, it was very lively, had a tropic feel to it (but not steel drum type), and not ordinary, over-played music. It very much put our group in a relaxed, fun, party mood. (I know a previous review said to turn the music off so passengers can listen to the wind and waves - but this was the Happy Hour cruise, so very fitting and set a great chill tone!) Maybe a compromise of turning off the music the last 10 minutes as you're heading back in and really soaking up the beautiful creation we have here in TC. Thanks Nauticat!

I surprised a group of non-Michiganders with a trip on the Nauti Cat. They all smiles ear to ear the whole time. So much fun.

I was in Traverse City with my team for a conference, and we booked the cocktail cruise to close out our week. The bay is beautiful, and the Nauti-Cat staff was extremely, friendly, kind, and hospitable. We hope to do this again in the future!

Considering the "Noon Cruise", and I see it is 2-1/2 hours long. Five adults (two middle agers and three college/post college). Will we get bored after an hour? Is there much to see or mostly water and trees? Do they play music on the noon cruise (not live)?

The sunset cruise is 35.00. Is that the price for all cruises? And can you get tickets and it would be good for anytime?

The prices vary on the different cruise times. The ticket you get is for that cruise time and I believe for that specific day. They all have different advantages, depending what you are looking for. Ask the co. That sells them. They can give you specifics.

I purchased my tickets through Up North Deals that is sponsored through one of our local TV news channel. And yes I would recommend getting tickets in advance. Cause the owner of the boat was telling us that we picked a good time in June cause they are filling up fast with the Cherry Festival coming. The people who own this company are so accommodating cause I use a wheelchair and they had us get on before the rest of the people.

How late in the season are evening cruises - Oct 7??

It looks like October 2nd is the last day of cruises.
My wife and I want to do the sunset cruise, but I wonder if she would be comfortable. She is 74 and a little wobbly on her feet. Also, some of the reviews mention the loud rock music. Is this trip mostly for younger people? We like a good time, but you get the point. Jim

The night we went the crowd was very mixed...I'd say mid 40-50's to 70's. My husband 74, me 68. Staff is very helpful getting people on and off boat. Music was not too loud...reggae for first while and then a little soft rock maybe. I did not use the bathroom but you do have to climb down a ladder to get to it. We had a good time.
