Not a general information area. It is geared to the Ottawa Natural Forest. Good displays and a small gift shop If you are there definitely stop in. Doesnt take long.

The center is not large but does a good job of explaining the history of the area including the native peoples and the history of logging and mining in the North Woods. They have a few good displays and a small gift shop.
Take the outside trail walk which takes about 20 mins, the walkway is paved but runs through the woods with markers and signs on the various trees and plants you see in the area.
This is also a good place for a rainy day as they have a good selection of free films about the area they will show if you request it.
