The park is fun for kids but there is bad security. No cameras! Thief of an unattended snowboard and ski gear spoiled the day.

Rude, unhelpful staff. Lost and found policy is ridiculous! My daughter left her nice North Face coat outside where her and her friends sat to take a break (they were not allowed in the chalet at this time). When we called 2 days later to inquire if they had it we were rudely told we would have to come look for it ourselves as staff are not going to touch any lost and found items due to Covid. We were able to come in the following weekend to look for it (6 days after my daughter left it) and were told that those items had already been thrown out. Would have been helpful to know that when we initially called! And the fact that they routinely throw out high quality, expensive North Face, Patagonia, Spider, etc. brand outerwear made me even more upset. I'd have been more understanding had they donated them, but apparently they think Covid grows on inanimate objects like mold (it does not). We've never been impressed with the staff at Hyland, but this just shows that customer service at Hyland is truly DEAD. We will avoid this place.

I haven't been here in winter, so ignore my post if that's what you're looking for. I was here for a disc golf tournament, and it was my first time on the course. Obviously there are tons of hills - it's a ski/snowboard area after all - so that added some good variety. It was an interesting course to play, and had very pretty trails and views.

If you are looking for short hills or a few runs with big jumps this is the place for you. We are new to snowboarding and skipping so the hills were great and close to the city which was nice. It's no big resort. Go during the week when it is not too crowded. I heard the weekends are jammed. We did not have big lines which was great. It was what we were looking for. Compared to the big resorts in Colorado - the prices for the lift tickets and the rentals were GREAT.

i got a burger and the bun was stale and the patty was burnt, the bun was hard and chewy and every time i get a burger here it’s the same thing

During my days off, this was the place that I went to. Super close to my hotel, excellent hills, nice family environment an great customer service. Food was great too.

My family's first visit. Lots of young children enjoying the slopes. My little one enjoyed playing with snow lots of positive experience. There were ski classes for all ages which is great for the public. The chalet was way to noisy and crowded for us. There was a place where you can purchase food and rent ski equipment. Free shuttle ride to the ski area. fun for the whole family and kids of all ages.

Hyland Ski is such a great place to ski.........great hills for lots of different levels. Also, they host a fall colors ski lift ride, highly recommend checking this place out!

This is a relatively small downhill ski area but they have some fun runs. I like the French Cliff. But at another location still within Hyland is a cross country ski area. This is one of the few cross country ski area in the Twin City area where they make snow. I stop 3/4 of the way and take a little trail that goes to the going-back loop. If you go to the end you will encounter a very large hill that you will go down and need to go back up again.

We had such a wonderful time!! We went to this area because my son wanted to try snowboarding for the first time. The staff was so nice and helpful and really made sure my son was comfortable and understood what to do. My daughter tried skiing for the first time and had so much fun. Kent (the manager on duty) was great. He went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. We will return. My kids are already asking to go back - we will for sure!!
