So much to see must go again. A Great view of 1930s thru 60s automotive at its best. Many very unique and forgotten items. Guide was fantastic

So much to see. Worth repeat visits.

What a gem of a find and not just for automotive buffs. You'll not only see one-of-a-kind collectible vehicles on site but many kinds of automotive items on every inch of the walls. There's so much to see you can make repeat visits and not get bored. It's a great place to bring friends or family when they come to visit.

Needs More Signage

This place is W..A..Y off the beaten path. The sign on the road is small. Don’t miss it! When you turn into the driveway, have faith and continue to follow it deep into the woods. Park and walk all the way around the round barn to the front door and ring the bell. It didn’t appear to be much more of a museum until we got inside. There are about 20 restored Chevrolet’s and a few other models. The amount of fuel pumps in pristine order are amazing. And there was no charge to wander around the museum.

Amazing, fun museum

So surprised to find such an interesting collection in such an out of the way place. Loved it. This is an unusually large collection of colorfully, beautifully restored gas pumps, pedal cars and other petroliana. We’re collectors ourselves and didn’t know some of these pieces existed. The car collection isn’t extensive but well worth seeing, especially the Duesenberg. Very knowledgable, pleasant and helpful tour guide made the visit delightful.

An out of the way treasure worth the trip

I have had few experiences like this. The guide was knowledgeable and took all the time I needed. Thinking that autos would be the feature, I found myself more attracted to the dozens of restored gas pumps. They were in the process of adding even more display space to be open in 2018.

Anyone with an interest in old and modified autos and old pumps should find this well worth their time. A visually impressive display even if you are not into all of the collection. On top of it all it was free unless you wished to donate.

Amazing collection!

The passion and attention to details are obvious, every step of the way. Extensive collection of cars & gas pumps. Multiple boats and motorcycles add to the experience. The photos, plaques and various memorabilia on the walls compliment the overall look and feel of the museum. So much to see and learn. Jared, our guide, was a never ending source of information about the collection, its history, Mr Veit’s vision, and the future of the foundation. No entry fee, but individual donations are welcomed.

Construction is underway to expand the display area. I look forward to visiting again in the spring.

Unbelievable! The guides were so knowledgeable about all the collections and had great stories about the history of the pieces. Beautifully restored and displayed. Can't wait to see the new addition! Thanks for a great afternoon.

This a great educational & reminiscent adventure museum for adults of any age plus an experience which families can give their children about auto history from many decades.
There is so much, you can spend hours looking around at all the artifacts they have on display. Take your time or make a couple of trips.
They are expanding the building space which will allow plenty of room to move freely about.
Get the real scoop from the helpful staff especially Jared & Heidi, who help tell you details of all the items on display. Everyone on staff was super pleasant to give up time with our group. Ask questions, they love to share what they know & it is really interesting what you will learn!
Check their website for days/hours of operation. You' ll want to bring family & friends more than once, I promise you.

Amazing Hidden Gem

Friend brought me here. I had no idea it existed but it's a top notch and well curated. Everything was so pristine and there were a lot of interesting cars. The host said they were going to expand the museum with new buildings as well so it can only get better. Highly recommended!

Great Collection of Rods - a real "Back to the Fifties" experience

Worth a little drive in the country to see a first class collection of top quality customized Hot Rods and Classic Cruisers along with collectable motor head memorabilia from the past. Everything is top notch, no expense spared, restoration and customizing. If you can get the tour from Veit himself, it greatly adds to the experience because of the story behind each item in the collection and the historical knowledge of the owner .
