Someone to actually narrate the boat ride and let
People on the boat what attractions or things about each area we pass. It was silent the entire ride, wasn’t even sure where we were when we were traveling. We went on the paradise cruise a couple weeks ago and they narrated. My wife’s parents went this time and they had no idea what was going on. I said or knew more than the captain said or did. Would never go on this one again. Wasn’t worth the money I could have rented a boat and narrated better. Super disappointed

Staff was friendly & the ride was smooth-older boat so be prepared for some funky smells with carpet, etc. It was a rainy day so we couldn’t see much.

The cruise description states that it is a narrated cruise. However the commentary was largely non-existant. I took out-of-town family on this tour expecting a narrated tour as stated and heard only comments abouut the diversity of fish and that we were going around an island. I expected some facts and figures about the lake and it history as well as some of the homes surrounding it but there was virtually nothing. I have been on alternative boat tours of Minnetonka where there was a steady stream of commentary. While the boat ride is relaxing, there was little to maintain interest. OK tour if your willing to converse within your group and largely ignore the landscape.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The tour was interesting and the Lake beautiful as always with early fall colors. So happy we went! Thank you.

i took this leisurely and beautiful cruise over the weekend. the weather was lovely and the water calm. we watched aquatic 'acrobatics' by other pleasure craft nearby and that was so much fun as well as looking at some of the great mansions and homes along the waterfront. the staff was just wonderful and one of the young ladies brought us a map to the table to show us our route and answered all our questions. and free ice water! you can bring your own lunch or order one from them.

Our family enjoyed a nice historic tour of Lake Minnetonka. Nothing fancy; limited room on top deck & outside, but a nice tour nonetheless. Captain did a good job giving a full view of the lake along with interesting historical tidbits and fun facts!

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 hour boat tour of Lake Minnetonka on Lady of the Lake. The ride was ever so smooth and the boat was very comfortable. We were warmly greeted by the captain who gave relevant information about the lake and the lakeside towns and villages. We booked our tickets online and ordered the box lunch which was fresh, delicious, and great value for money. We would highly recommend adding it to your tickets (chicken salad croissants were amazing). The captain phoned us the day before to check on the menu which was much appreciated. Our young server was friendly and answered many of our questions as we oohed and aahed over the many mansions on the lake. She made sure our coffee cups and water glasses were always full!
If you’re looking for a way to explore the lake without renting a boat of your own be sure to give Lady of the Lake a try! Friendly crew, super clean boat, upstairs deck, and a very fair price!

The Lady of the Lake is a wonderful 3-Level Paddlewheel boat for tours of Lake Minnetonka. Be aware that that you only get a tour of the Lower Lake due to bridges and size of the boat.
The boat has nice seating at table on all three levels. The middle section has a bar for pop, drinks, snacks, etc. They offer free iced water throughout the tour. You can bring your own snacks and food on board.
The tour takes 2 hours (some of the other tours are 90 minutes), but it is two hours likely due to the slower speed of this ship. Do not expect a boat that moves along and covers a lot of space. The two horus does drag n a bit. It is advertised as a narrated historic tour but there were only about 3 announcements regarding history and some other announcements for the contemporary homes and situations (boat clubs, adding locations, etc.)
The staff was very aware of the needs of people and served us well. Over all it was a great tour and worth the price. Kids are welcome but during the two hours they might get a bit bored. Be aware that each level is reach with stairs and for those that need help it is not a great place for wheel-chair bound people but it might be Ok on the lowest level.
It would be nicer to know more of the history around the lake but overall with the sun and group on board it was a good tour.

Our family reunion of 10 adults really enjoyed the experience. It was a beautiful day with wonderful views. We brought a picnic lunch to eat, they had plenty of seating for us all together. The views are enjoyable on any of the 3 levels. We thoroughly enjoyed our time on Lady of the Lake!

I try and ride this boat a couple times during the summer. It is relaxing, staff is friendly, food and drink is available. I love how they let you bring a picnic on board. Informative about the history of the lake.
The only issue is having to pay $9.00 to park on the street for three hours. That felt like a huge rip off for street parking.
