The city lights tour was really nice. The guide Courtney was very knowledgeable of the history for the area which was nice since I like history. It was my daughter’s birthday and she felt like a queen. Sending a shout out to Marble also lol without him it wouldn’t have been possible.

We did the 90 minute historic tour for our 40th wedding anniversary, and it exceeded our expectations! The carriage was very comfortable and cozy, and even though it was a chilly day (below freezing), we were bundled up warmly beneath carriage blankets. The ride was very relaxing, and our driver, Arthur, was a font of information about the history of the area. Everyone we passed waved and smiled, and many took pictures. There was a feeling off old-world neighborliness as we exchanged pleasantries with the folks we passed by. Frank, a gorgeous Belgian Draft horse, was great, and could have done the ride without Arthur, he knew the route so well. To top it off we got a souvenir horse and cocoa mug to remember our delightful day, and Mike, the owner, threw in an extra cocoa bomb so we’d each have one. Highly recommend The Hitching Company for a nostalgic look at Minneapolis.

What a wonderful experience - our tour guide was fabulous, telling a little about the history of the buildings we went by, how she really enjoys her job and some history about the company. I would highly recommend taking a carriage ride. I can’t wait to do another one. Thank you!

Delightful carriage ride on a beautiful route near the Nicollet Island Inn. Loved our horse and Ookie(sp?), the driver! Lap robes to guard against the chill❣️My favorite part was crossing the Stone Arch Bridge.

My wife and I loved our hour long tour. Our driver was very nice and our horse, Marble, was super sweet. Very enjoyable and we hope to do it again whenever we come back to Minneapolis.

We had a gorgeous Fall day for our carriage ride. Arthur was very informative on the history of the area and had a great sense of humor. The views were stunning and we also enjoyed the musicians along our route. We will definitely go back.

We took a 30 min carriage ride around Nicollet Island for our anniversary. Our driver told us about some of the sights. We mostly wanted a quiet ride and he was respectful of our time. It was very nice, romantic, and fun. Highly recommend.

Seeing part of the city from this view is breath taking. Learning about the history of our city. Excellent driver well behaved horse. Would highly recommend doing this. Will be going again.

We had an awesome carriage ride courtesy of Hershey the horse. The ride was interesting with great scenery and lots of historical facts about the Mississippi river and that area in Minneapolis. We have lived here for many years and saw things we have never seen before. The carriage was really comfortable. I can’t recommend this activity enough. We had a great time.

Always wanted to tour my hometown by horse and carriage. Enjoyed every minute! A special treat for my 93-years-young mother, for whom the ride revived sweet memories of youth at her country home. One of the best parts of the experience was watching everyone we encountered along the way, whether on foot, bicycle or car. Their delight at our passing was clearly evident, their courtesy reflecting warm feelings of nostalgia. For nearly an hour, humanity was at its best behavior, and all seemed well with world.

We have 3 adults and 2 children. Would we be able to all go on a carriage if our 6 year old sat on someone's lap? If not, we won't be able to go :(
